Rudy is a good lawyer, but he IS a loose cannon. My God, just watch him on TV. He waves papers about like he’s fanning the devil, and literally spits when he gets excited (which is pretty much a constant with him). His optics are TERRIBLE! The best lawyers are the ones you never see and never hear from.
So appearance trumps competence for you? That’s exactly what the left says about Trump, BTW. William Kunstler was a messy, stinking, communist dirtball but the most effective attorney I ever went up against. So it’s really function over form when dealing with the legal system, for me at least.

Rudy is also an accomplished politician. He knows that Trump is being tried in the court of public opinion with the assistance of the MSM. You just have to look at the polls to see how successful the Dems have been in selling impeachment without the President being charged with a crime.
Trump needs more people waving their arms supporting him. Where are the Rep senators? Where are the hearings? The GOPe is MIA.

When he was on a tear, I would cringe, holding my breath that he wouldn't misstep....he poured the words wildly out, on and on....the interviewer couldn't stop him at all, even when time ran out and it was commercial break, he couldn't be stopped, he picked up NO subtle hints from the interviewer, entirely tone deaf that his time was up....and then he had to be cut off, just like I'm cutting myself off from my own sample rant, LOL.

and yet, for a long time, this loose cannon and Katrina and to a lesser extent Sessions, were the only ones going on TV taking the hits for Donald J Trump during the campaign...and Rudy was going into the lions’ dens to do it.
Loose cannon ? Rudy has a history...you know what Rudy is from the get-go when you hire him.
Can’t complain about Rudy being the Rudy you hired.
