Did you even read my post? I said that the best lawyers are the ones that are never seen and never heard from. How is that “appearance?”
I’m retired now, but in my previous life I handled litigation for major insurers; I dealt with lawyers and courts constantly, as that was my job. The ones I respected the most — and worried about if they were on the other side — were generally the quiet, methodical ones. Bombast and hyperbole make for good theater, but they generally fail (except with some juries, who just want to be entertained for their time, and can reward the side that entertains them the most).
