f you thought there werent any major elections until the Iowa caucuses on Feb. 3, guess again. On Saturday, Louisiana will choose between incumbent Democratic Gov. John Bel Edwards and Republican businessman Eddie Rispone for governor. And the race down in the Bayou looks increasingly close, so its an open question whether Edwards can once again overcome Louisianas deep red hue to win reelection. Heres where things stand heading into Election Day.

East Baton Rouge and Orleans Parish are going 2 to 1 democrat and both of them have only reported 10%. Unfortunately,It’s going to be rough to beat that from the rural areas. However, our President did everything he could to help. I’m just being reasonable here.
What’s the local word?
Hate to say it, but Edwards wins this rather easily.
The RNC is not doing its job! Seems the rats are motivated to go out and vote ...this should be a concern for the 2020 presidential election! I’ve been saying, McDaniel NEEDS TO GO for sometime!!
NOLA has been a Dem sharthole, for some time.
What happened to Shreveport???
like Bevin... Rispone an old, horrible candidate.
I keep seeing Ronna McDaniel on the news saying how much they (RNC) are raising and hard they are working.
Where are the results? These races shouldn’t even be this close with what all the Dems are pulling, these days.

Has the election be called?
Every victory the rats win in red states Kentucky and now Louisiana is a VICTORY for socialism!! We are screwed if the rats are winning in red states..royally screwed!! We ain’t winning Diddley squat!
Rispone is an old, horrible candidate.
What good candidate is going to want to run on the R ticket and face what Trump has to face every single day?
And it utterly defies logic.
Conservative southern state, booming economy, oil producer, Trump state in 2016.
Yet, we see it all the time.
The only plausible explanation is voter fraud or a remarkably stupid electorate.
Or both.
Heavy minority vote and none if any of it for Rispone.
The Democrat HAS to pretend to be a Conservative to win.
Cant help STUPID voters who fall for it.
