This wall may close (or narrow) some of the gaps left by the exclusions written into the Congressional appropriations (Bentsen State Park and the National Butterfly Center). I have not seen definite reports of where it will start and end.
If it does, then just like their fist project in Sundland Park, NM (El Paso, TX suburb), it would indicate that they are carefully complementing the Governments Wall building efforts.
These will be "new" miles, where there was no previous barrier. It is also among the very busiest miles of the entire border, in terms of illegal crossings.
Uh, still think a hundred yards south of the river would be better.
When the dude was starting the deal, I sent a donation - many here were calling it a scam and saying it was stupid to throw our money away - of course, they also feel that way about the FReepathons....
I encourage them to make their voices relevant:

Guessing this isn’t the private land where the Mexican guy rows gringos across the river to Mexico for $5. Wonder how many illegals he rows back across in that boat which should be empty. How much is the US landowner getting?
Texas Freepers,
If you're of a mind, could you do me a favor and save the above image to your computer? I just want to make sure someone has it if I don't make it.
Thank you,
Windy

These guys are amazing! And dedicated to border security!
President Trump ceded the Rio Grande river to Mexico
The president never heard of Goliad or San Jacinto
