An opportunity to watch the kangaroo democrats attempt to cover themselves from the coming firestorm of the IG report by wounding our sitting president. Watch this coup against our Commander-in-Chief.
They may not be able to edit the "facts" but being able to delay their approval of what is said about them until it becomes ineffective accomplishes the same thing.
There should be no review of Inspector General's reports by those names as wrongdoers in the report itself.
That defeats the purpose of an "inspector's report".
Let the named wrongdoers fight over the facts in a court of law or the media but leave the Inspector General's report alone as written.
These are policy wonks who think they are the experts whose judgment should not be questioned.

He seems unaware that he can refer to itregular channels all he wants but because those channels were coming out of the White House and the president there is nothing irregular about them. The state department is not a church.
Now apparently it was a crime that the White House chief of staff was skeptical about aid for the Ukraine. I’m sorry this bothered this gentleman but there was nothing wrong with it I think that chief of staff likes to believe that he can actually influence policy from the White House.
This all palace intrigue stuff. It goes on all the time. Bureaucrats who disagree with their political bosses. Trump was elected by the American people. Taylor and Kent were not.
