On Tuesday, former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton told BBC Radio 5 Live she was under “enormous pressure” to consider a 2020 White House run.
When asked about her future in politics, Clinton said, “I feel a sense of responsibility partly because you know my name was on the ballot, I got more votes, but ended up losing to the current incumbent in the White House who I think is really undermining our democracy in very fundamental ways. And I want to retire him.”
When asked if she is absolutely ruling out a 2020 run, Clinton said, “I, as I say never, never, never say never. I will certainly tell you. I’m under enormous pressure from many, many, many people to think about it. But as of this moment, sitting here in this studio talking to you, that is absolutely not in my plans.”

I have to admit with a great deal of SHAME. Back in 1972, my first vote for president, I did vote for McGovern. I was so derailed by the anti-Nixon sentiment I just had to vote agin him. I’ve tried to make up for that gaffe over the years by voting straight R but that can be a dicey gambit as we have learned.

If “any Democrat” can beat Trump, why do more and more of these people feel the need to jump in the race? Either they’re admitting that no one in the current field capable of doing the job, or people like Hillary and Bloomberg feel an extraordinary amount of hubris.
Since Slow Joe more or less bowed out and deferred to Hillary in 2016. She’s probably waiting for Joe to implode and then she’ll come in to save the Dim party from the extremists. And she’s probably doing whatever she can to speed Joe’s demise in the race.

But Bernie’s heart attack capped him out at the 20% or so mark he was at on that day; and that is now his ceiling.
Anyone wasn’t pre-heart-attack-pro-Bernie is certainly not going to be post-heart-attack-pro-Bernie.
And Hillary would wipe the floor in the big state D primaries with the other dozen or so D candidates remaining.
Plus; I would pay to see the beat-downs Tulsi Gabbard would give her on the debate stage.
