On this week’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT) said President Donald Trump’s abuses of power made former President Richard Nixon’s impeachment “look like child’s play.”
Himes said, “We are looking at abuse of power and a level of corruption here that makes the Nixon impeachment look like child’s play. Remember, Nixon wasn’t the guy who actually broke into the Democratic National Committee headquarters. He just knew about it. Nobody died in Ukraine because Nixon held up aid to a very vulnerable nation. Nixon didn’t fire any ambassadors because Giuliani didn’t like that ambassador.”

Not a crime and even if it were, it still doesn’t rise to the level of an impeachable offense.

“Abuse of power”? What abuse? The President has plenipotentiary power in many facets of his office.
The power may be granted to an ambassador while representing the nation in the meeting with the top authority of another country, but it is to be used sparingly and with relative certainty that the President will support the ambassador later on. No ambassadors are involved in dealing with purely domestic matters of state.
Did anyone on Fox News Sunday challenge this moron on his comments? I thought so...Fox is just another disseminator of fake news.

The President would have a legal obligation to investigate this “crime” So if it is a crime, Trump was doing his duty, it is is NOT a crime what Biden did, neither is Trump guilty of anything.
It is either a crime or it is not. It cannot be a crime for Trump but not for Biden. If it is a crime, Trump is legally obligated to help investigate Bidens actions. .
Either way there is no legal standing to this continuing farce in the US House.
