unfortunately, those days are long gone...
I know a lot of teachers. They are all conservatives, but they hate Bevin. I was discussing this with some at church. I was trying to explain that Bevin is trying to save the state but they were all in favor of the corrupt ex-governor’s son.
Just guessing lex and louisville
Well I voted for Bevin his loss was his on stupid stuff
Ballard, Caldwell and Russell Counties still to report a vote.
Small but conservative counties....
He did his best to help. If Bevin ultimately loses, the Dem will be very lonely in the capital, because the GOP will control everything else.
Meanwhile in the heart of the Old Confederacy the entire state government will be controlled by baby killing, queer loving Democrats, which is lost forever to Republicans.
Andy Beshear Democrat 687,674 49.4%
Matt Bevin* Republican 677,606 48.7%
John Hicks Libertarian 27,414 2.0

But they have no problem being registered to a party that represents (and has represented for decades) everything they do not believe in.
This was a personal vote for many people in a conservative state. This was as personal as it got.
Matt heads to Admin next...best advisor on KY politics for next year.
May be... I think Bevin’s hard stance against Casino gambling didn’t help either. We HAVE it now... just with ONE COMPANY getting ALL the benefits.

John Hicks Libertarian 27,482 2.0

I still don’t believe that. If they were there to cast one vote, they would have just voted a straight ticket. As a ‘lesson’. You know how spiteful those dems are.
Are there 11,000 votes in those counties? Nah
Holy crap!
Its over.
