Daily Reminder: Lindsey Graham Could Call in Former US Ambassador Kurt Volker to Testify and Blow Up Dem Impeachment Narrative – But He Refuses to Act… Why? (UPDATED) [Full title]

...

On May 1, 2019 Lindsey Graham, the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, promised investigations on how the Mueller probe started.

Senator Graham made the the comments during testimony by US Attorney General Bill Barr in front of the US Senate.

...

But Lindsey Graham lied.. Lindsey Graham is a fraud.

Lindsey Graham has scheduled NO COMMITTEE HEARINGS on Deep State, FBI, CIA, Spygate, Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, Mueller, Stefan Halper, George Papadopoulos, Tom Fitton, Sidney Powell, Joe diGenova, John Brennan, James Comey, Chris Wray, etc.

...

On Monday Senator Rand Paul joined Tucker Carlson to discuss Lindsey Graham’s empty promises and multiple lies to the American public.

Lindsey promised to investigate the origins of the Russia hoax, the Ukrainian investigation and the Roger Stone raid.

These were ALL LIES.

And Tucker Carlson noted that Lindsey Graham will not call in former Ambassador Kurt Volker to the Judiciary Committee even though his testimony undermines the current Democratic Party Ukrainian narrative!

It’s better to call Hannity and ask him to put the question to Lindsay

Maybe. Let’s see what happens with the vote tomorrow. It might fail.

I don’t see anything seriously impacting Trump’s ability to govern. Trump knows it’s a farce, and he appears to have remained focus on the nation’s business.

If the Senate did call witnesses, we can assume they would be open hearings and the Senate will play fair. But you can’t assume the MSM will play fair. They will take Democrat questions and responses to those, in sound bites. They won’t air the whole hearing or even play the sound bites in context.

Here is the problem with this complaint about Graham. The house is bent on impeachment and if the Senate destroys their current reason they will drag out another whistleblower with another charge.

In doing irs audits it is almost a given the irs agent will continue to audit until they find something, anything. I was taught early on not to argue with an agent until they finish and write up their final findings. Once they get to that stage they have finished searching. The same arguments we originally have are still valid but we no longer have to worry about new issues being raised.

You seem remarkably complacent about Trump getting impeached by the House. That would be a mark of shame in the history books. Lindsey has the power to stop it. But he’s doing nothing

Lindsey could stop a House impeachment from happening by holding hearing to expose what a sham it is But he won’t. Hes hurting Trumps ability to govern and Trumps place in history by “waiting till the House impeaches”

Have you considered what happens to Articles of Impeachment which the Senate declares to be illegitimately obtained and in essence renders them DOA? Graham has already obtained signatures from 50 of 53 GOP Senators which does essentially that pre-emptively. The House has been warned.

Imagine the House going down in history as having originated Articles of Impeachment deemed to be illegitimate on their face, and slapped down by the Senate with extreme prejudice?

Consider the following: If Mitch receives such articles they should be simply turned away as illegitimate until the President has his defense team and subpoena power restored by the House.

Pelosi will have to retreat for fear that discovery will out the entire complicit Obama Administration.

...Never mind the fact that Roberts presiding over an impeachment effort where he is a material fact witness (having signed each of the FISA Warrants personally) and should have to recuse himself, as a matter of process....

This brings the Constitutional crisis heretofore un-imagined, courtesy of the Deep State: will Robert's involvement in FISA force his resignation -- presenting Trump with another vacancy?

If Roberts must at the very least recuse himself, who will take his place in the impeachment process? The next most senior Justice aka Clarence Thomas? If so, do you think he'd have a thing or two to say about high tech lynchings, as he issues his condemnation of the House for its lack of standing and failure to follow traditional rights to due process of the accused at trial?

Git your popcorn, this is going to be fun!

FReegards!

Himself.

Does anyone believe McCain’s mini-me was uninvolved with the dossier dissemination?

"You seem remarkably complacent about Trump getting impeached by the House." Well I've seen Kim Clement's prophecy that "they will cry Impeach, Impeach but Nay". And from what I can tell Clement had a pretty good track record. So I think I know the outcome. The house will never get the votes for actual Articles of Impeachment. In the meantime, I think the Democrats are coming off as dishonest, unscrupulous, and downright petty. I think the impeachment effort is doing major harm to them. So I'm all for the Republicans going to the press daily and pointing out the unfairness and lack of due process. But the Senate holding their own hearings is only of value if it actually manages to embarrass the house and stop the House. Otherwise, it's just going to give the MSM more dishonest sound bites.

He’s reactionary like a like girl sometimes, but in this case, I believe he and the Senate have been told to stand down for now to let the plan (whatever it is) to play out. I trust there is a much greater PDJT trap being set for the Demshoviks and certain operators.

JMHO

In order to kill the impeachment - keep the House from doing it - by showing it’s a sham.

You act as if the U.S. Senate has any control over what the House does in a situation like this.

No offense, but please get a clue about how Congress works.

That’s not a good analogy. If the Deep coupists know a bright light is going to be shined on their actions they will not be so brazen in their activities. So far they’ve had 3 years of top cover from the GOP Senate and have no fear of exposure. I don’t expect that will be changing, unfortunately.

President Trump hasn't even asserted executive privilege to prevent any of these morons from "testifying" before Schiff's witch-hunt tribunal.

Why are you expecting Lindsey Graham to take this more seriously than Trump does?

Wishful thinking. How would forcing Collins and Gardner to vote on convicting POTUS harm the Dems? It certainly would be a great help to their Dems opponents in those blue state races where the voting base leans Dem.
