It's a condition where the female has all the female plumbing, but is biologically male.
Women with this condition cannot have children (Curtis has no kids other than adopted ones). They are usually tall and statuesque in appearance, and have no body hair.
Is Curtis aware he was using his own kids as a human shield, and when HE BLEW HIMSELF UP, he took them with him?
