Of course on the bright side, God is fully in charge. I am reminded of the ancient Hebrews in the Bible. We DO get the governments that we deserve! Every time that the Hebrews strayed from God, they eventually were attacked and destroyed. As a country, we removed the Lord’s Prayer decades ago, we allow abortion up until the moment of birth, we ‘celebrate’ LBTQ et al, rather than offering help to such poor, bedeviled souls. Too much of the growth in SW Montana is tourism related and the majority of the work does not pay well. The Big money came in and helped drive away well paying jobs in mining, logging, and manufacturing and they drove up the costs of land and housing. The bicoastal twits drop in for the scenery and the quaint locals that they secretly look down on or outright despise.
The only thing that the Californicator invasion improved is the food. When I was growing up there in the 70s and 80s the food was bland and monotonous.
Some isn’t enough. Every school is teaching their kids to be kooks who hate America.
Western Canadian separation starts today. We don’t need upper and lower Canada, which is east Ontario and Quebec.

I don’t have a problem with tourism business in Montana. Lots of native folks I know are now living very well off tourists.
I am not against tourism either but I have a problem with the leftists treating Montanans like a primitive people on a reservation that they have to keep in a state of poverty by fighting against any good jobs in logging, mining, and manufacturing. Tourism as well as economic development should be promoted at the same time.
And don’t get me started on that funeral law that prohibits ranchers from subdividing and selling land. as of right now the only way a ranch can be divided is among the ranchers children. This is straight out of medieval England and limits the availability of small lots for homes and businesses.
The US is still very f@#$ed up. Better to go it alone for the foreseeable future. You’ll be right near the left coast states, who are the worst of the worst.
Except those who can afford, put their kids in private schools, parochial especially.

Because Conservatives won ridings (districts) in Alberta and Sask by enormous margins (like Hillary winning California and NY by enormous margins) and the liberals winning other ridings by smaller margins (as Trump did with Penn, Wisc and Mich).

Canada is in deep need of an electoral college and a Senate which actually has legislative power, Canada is a faux democracy you see, all disguised by a faux Crown which is a matter of totalitarian convenience in Canada.

There is going to be a (((( storm of epic proportions up here in the great white north. Unlike the Quebec separatists who have nothing much to take away except poutine and memories, the west has large-scale resources without which the rest of Canada would have a very much reduced taxation base.
If the west gathered its forces and left as an independent nation, it would be a larger economy than the ROC. I don’t think that’s going to keep what we call the “Laurentian elites” in pocket money for very long, all those grifters will have to find real work (for which they have no qualifications).
The main obstacle to western unity is coastal BC, once you get within sniffing distance of the ocean everything turns all wobbly like in Oregon and Washington. Those are the people preventing the pipelines from being built and made operational, which is the major cause of western alienation (another factor being equalization, a tidy Canadian term for theft and redistribution down east).
Anything you might have heard about meek and polite folk well that just applies perhaps to our elites when in your company, when you’re not around, they are mean suckers but we are meaner and so as I say, a storm is brewing. At least maybe we will shake off some of those stereotypes, not that I care since it doesn’t affect my day to day existence in any way. Not having work is a different story. As always, mainstream media will be the last to see it coming and will report it all wrong until it’s too late to hide the truth any longer.
Our elites meanwhile are mostly obsessed with getting the weather to turn even colder and to do that they are listening carefully to the advice of a Swedish teenager and her wine-soused Canadian volunteer foster mom. Sounds like a plan.
