So, if these “just recently” came into the DOJ’s possession, I would assume that they were acquired during the Barr/Durham trip to Italy.
I don’t see it making a difference either. Will learn the contents of those phones in let’s say 10 years?

It’s seems pretty likely now Mifsud was a spy and was issued these phones by the CIA or FBI. Then he gave them back. I’m surprised the phones didn’t get the Hillary Hammer treatment yet. Most likely they have and the Wray FBI hasn’t bothered to tell anybody yet that the phones have been destroyed.

As someone who worked for the federal government for 36 years and have held high level security clearances, these phones could be the Rosetta stone to unlock all of the various networks of the coup. The Strzok-Page texts pale by comparison.
It was reported around the Time Barr/Durham traveled to Italy, that Mifsud had entered a sort "witness protection program" under Italian protection, at his own request.
I read that book, and while it made me view her very respectfully, I found it quite depressing.
Informative, but...depressing.
Maybe the prosecution will just claim that Misfud’s blackberries do not have any information that is discoverable or relevant to sentencing. Thus they won’t turn them over. After all the lying and corruption of the last three years, maybe they will determine that lying again is preferable to turning them over.
I haven’t read the book, but I’ve heard her discuss it with it’s special attention to Andrew Weissman (of Mueller fame)

As to #5, which is the only question I can intelligently surmise on, it would be reason to believe that Sid has friends in high (and the right) places.

Oh yeah, we inadvertently destroyed them during routine procedures.
That's what I think. Maybe even a friend who knows the phone contains "material, exculpatory and relevant" evidence, as Sid stated.
