The op-ed was very soft by Peter Sweitzer standards. He was just pointing out what has been reported over many years in the press about relatives of elected officials suddenly getting hired to companies they know nothing about to provide access to the powerful. Its mostly an opinion rather than any investigative expose. Who could argue with Congress investigating these cozy conflict of interest deals?
