A disgruntled customer who was escorted out of a Chick-fil-A restaurant in south Lincoln on Tuesday afternoon and then drove his pickup into the building, was shot and killed by a railroad officer, Lincoln Police said.
Officers were called to the restaurant at 6810 S. 27th St. shortly after 1 p.m. on an initial report that a vehicle had driven into the business, police said at an afternoon news conference.

I have no idea what was going on other than maybe trespassing.
With some work and a computer maybe you could work it into some like the Tallahatchie Bridge?
Nice looking with big hair would be a plus.
My impression is nothing, and that he was disparaging the chain’’s reputation.
It is refreshing to read a news article written in a completely professional manner, conveying in detail the who, what, when, where, and even some why. But with no discernible lousy grammar or infusion of the writer’s own opinions. This used to be the norm. Now it’s so rare that it’s noticeable.
“It is a shame that a guy basically killed himself over Meal #1.”
If he was crazy enough to do this, he was doomed to find some way. People who do things like that tend not to die of old age.
Them was vultures.
When I was a kid [a long time ago]. Railroad cops were mean. We had a big rail yard in the town I grew up in and a lot of box cars were broken into. Anytime we got near the yard, they would chase us out. The Railroad cops were serious tough guys.
The communists are fleeing their states. Tons of NY-ers in Central FL now. See the plates everyday and they only have 2 weeks to get a FL tag so that shows how many new arrivals from there are. They bring their cray-cray and attack the normals around them.
They are stark raving mad.
Could be a crazy leftie or homo that hates Christians, like that one that tried to shoot up the Christian group in DC with a backpack full of Chik-Fil-A sandwiches.
Sometimes being very nice to people makes them mad.
I had one get mad at me when I told Im I didnt,t drink. That was one reason I missed Vietnam !
This idiot famously was disgruntled at CFA. He got what was coming to him and more. https://www.cbc.ca/radio/outintheopen/reputation-1.4589616/his-first-protest-ever-cost-him-his-career-reputation-and-sense-of-self-1.4596546

Nebraska. America’s heartland. I expect teachers there can pass tests and diversity is at a minimum.
Justified.
Performed his duty and more CPR than Amber Guyger.
Spicy Deluxe would be worth it.
Not the one in Temple, TX. Sorry bunch and gave me the wrong sandwich. Sandwich tasted so bad the dog wouldn’t eat it.
Yep. Maybe he felt like the sandwich was judging him so it was justified.
The Left is so filled with hate that they are deranged and self-destructive.

Well, yes, he had been put out. He was escorted from the building, after all. He may have been a mite peeved.
Not always deserving of their reputation. My father was a young man during the Great Depression, and rode the rails between seasonal jobs, up and down the west coast. He said that the RR police were helpful, even friendly, to the men riding the rails, as long as they were peaceful and did not damage railroad property. They went so far as to tell them which trains to hop to reach a destination, and which cars were safe to ride in.
