John Durham, the U.S. attorney reviewing the origins of the 2016 counterintelligence investigation into Russia and the Trump campaign, is probing a wider timeline than previously known, according to multiple senior administration officials.

Fox News previously reported that Durham would be reviewing the days leading up to the 2016 election and through the inauguration.

I agree. My biggest concern is that any prosecutions will be handled by reluctant attorneys like Jessie K. Liu (US attorney for the District of Columbia).

I'm optimistic that justice will be done, and for one big reason:

The victim of these crimes was Donald J. Trump.

If anyone thinks he is going to let that sh!t pass, they clearly don't know the first thing about the guy.

Just go back and remember this comical episode from the 2016 campaign, folks:

Fox News "John Miller" Report

The entire clip is worth watching, but the "punch line" starts at about the 4:20 mark. You can even hear other Fox News staff laughing in the background as that segment of the clip unfolds.

Notice how inconsequential that story was, and how non-serious the subject matter was. Donald Trump sat on that tape for TWENTY FIVE YEARS before it made its way out into the national media.

I’m with you. The visceral hate for trump is because he isn’t in the club and somehow won.

They will burn the entire country, and rule of law, down to ensure we can never elect an outsider again.

I only pray that Trump has this entire theater lined up to backfire spectacularly.

It feels like the Dems think this is a race against time.

The way the MSM has completely devolved into one 24/7 Impeach Trump Network my only worry is that whatever results from the investigation will have little to no coverage and very little impact. Look at CNN. They have refused to show even 1 Trump rally while holding repeated town halls for all 20 democrat candidates. Completely immune, it seems, from FEC/FCC regulation. How is that not a campaign finance violation?

I believe at this point Barr could indict 10+ persons directly connected to this attempted coup and it will go unmentioned. They have already dismissed proven Ukraine interference as “conspiracy theories”.

They had better start bringing some charges soon. If the Dems win in 2020, all charges and investigations will be dropped. Time is short.

Let him enforce his charges of “obstruction”.

Consider, w the demokraps “logic”, POTUS’ DOJ should charge Schitt when acting through the pretext of Congressional committee, et al w/ obstruction of a federal investigation into Ukrainian corruption, including witness tampering by his staff meeting with Mr Whistleblower. Any public criticisms by Mr Ukranian-American Joe “Red Eye” Biden about the investigation into his family dealings in his native land is obstruction. (The demokraps stated some of this line of crap during the Mueller sham investigation.)

He’s connecting the dots and appears to be attempting to paint a broad picture with lots of characters.

A conspiracy to unseat this fairly elected President, to me; would involve more than 20 people in different Federal agencies and elsewhere.
They are trying to protect themselves and probably hundreds of other people with their hand in the cookie jar in Washington.

Unfortunately, investigating the number of conspirators involved will be time consuming. - Tom

The Rats will do what their polling tells them hurts the President more. I,personally, will be stunned if they don't impeach...with the top "article" (and maybe the only one) being "obstruction"

If they do I hope McConnell will simply see to it that proof that "collusion" was a scam is presented...along with proof the Plugs *and* his coke snorting kid are stone cold criminals. And then the vote will be somewhere around 50-50 to convict...with every Rat voting "convict" as well as Mittens and maybe one or two other wolves in sheep's clothing.

I trust Durham but I believe part of Muller's job was tying up loose ends so that RATs walk. He has a tough trail to follow .

Yes, there’s really no reason that the signers of the illegally obtained FISA warrants can’t be indicted immediately. If that happened do you think the narrative of the media accomplices would change?

”.......in other words, more delays.

Maybe, though...

There could be one or two indictments soon, which then point to others. And still others.

..I have no special knowledge, just sayin’

I want him to get everything but I wonder how much longer we’ll have to wait for justice?

"the wheels of justice turn slowly ..."

... especially with something as complex as this, they gotta get it right

the fact that certain key players (Brennan, Hillary) are already panicking is a sign that a lot of things are going on behind the scenes ... it's not easy being patient

Well, if you’ve opened up the patient and found the cancer goes farther than you expected, should you close the patient up because you want to be finished for the day, or do you get your scalpel and cut, cut, cut, until it’s all dug out? I say get it all. GET IT ALL!!!!

If that happens, Sessions should be figuratively strung up. He could have started this whole process in 2017, but chose to sit on his hands instead.

When history looks back on this, he will be shown to be the spineless, pusillanimous simp who cowered from his duty to allow this travesty to go unpunished.
