WHY IS THIS DAMN MOVIE SO POPULAR?

It stars Jeff Bridges for crying out loud, who is the bridesmaid but never the bride in leading man roles.

It was so quirky it even caught my eye, kind of like Bruce Willis in the 5th Element, some movies cult-classic status makes no sense....

But back to the David Dudenhoefer for Congress... ;-)

Went to Blockbuster one Christmas when the whole family would be visiting, to pick out a movie all would enjoy.

Sis & I had heard the Big L was funny, so we got that.

The first 5 minutes was all we saw— a relentless barrage of F-bombs.
NOT funny at all to a houseful of Southern Baptists & a few Catholics on Christmas Day.
