Former House Speaker Paul Ryan, who currently sits on the board of Fox Corp., is reportedly urging Fox News to “decisively break” with President Donald Trump, according to a Thursday Vanity Fair report documenting the network’s “management bedlam.”
Vanity Fair’s Gabe Sherman, citing four sources, reported that Fox Corp. CEO Lachlan Murdoch, who has long tried to move Fox News to the center, “is already thinking about how to position the network for a post-Trump future.”
Ryan, the longtime Trump antagonist, has reportedly been suggesting to Murdoch that “Fox should decisively break with the president” as Murdoch holds “strategy conversations with Fox executives and anchors about how Fox News should prepare for life after Trump.”
Vanity Fair cited “an executive who’s spoken with Ryan” who simply said: “Paul is embarrassed about Trump and now he has the power to do something about it.”

The left is already waging war on advertisers on conservative shows and contributors to conservative candidates/organizations. Expect this effort to intensify. In addition the left will work hard to prevent OAN, or Levin’s network, from appearing on all cable systems.
If we truly had a free market there would be a conservative cable news network, a liberal cable news network, and a middle of the road “balanced” network. Instead we have two far left networks and a formerly moderate to conservative light network shifting to the left.
Failure to enforce anti-trust law over the past 50 years has resulted in media oligopolies which can ignore market forces. Truly markets require many competitors.

I remember the VP debate. Ryan sat there like a dumbass flapping his gums incoherently while Biden ate his lunch. And back then Biden’s brain was only a little more functional than it is today.

The Constitution allows both houses of Congress to set their own rules. It is conceivable the Senate could vote to use secret ballots for a vote to convict an impeached president. If McConnell decided to vote against Trump, he might allow a rule change permitting a secret ballot to give individual GOP Senators the ability to freely “vote their conscience”. Depending on the level of media hysteria, and the polls of the public, at the time of the vote it is very conceivable more than 20 GOP Senators would vote to convict if given the cover of a secret ballot.
Hannity made a comment alluding to some kind of in fighting over at FOX yesterday during the Carson sign off to him. I give him about six months and he will be gone from Fox. That operating management at FOX would listen to what Turd Face Ryan has to say is incredible but he was placed on the Board by someone for some reason. The total destruction of the USA is at hand. Similar to if a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it fall does it make noise, if someone points out the deep state has taken over and no one hears about it does it really happen.

I wanted Newt to get the nomination. Because I supported Newt, those at the caucus kept me from being a delegate to the state convention. In the past, I did much to support the GOP candidate for president. I didn’t lift a finger for Mitt and Paul. Mitt belonged up on the roof in that dog carrier.
