Report: Paul Ryan Pushing Fox News to ‘Decisively Break’ with Trump

Former House Speaker Paul Ryan, who currently sits on the board of Fox Corp., is reportedly urging Fox News to “decisively break” with President Donald Trump, according to a Thursday Vanity Fair report documenting the network’s “management bedlam.”

Vanity Fair’s Gabe Sherman, citing four sources, reported that Fox Corp. CEO Lachlan Murdoch, who has long tried to move Fox News to the center, “is already thinking about how to position the network for a post-Trump future.”

Ryan, the longtime Trump antagonist, has reportedly been suggesting to Murdoch that “Fox should decisively break with the president” as Murdoch holds “strategy conversations with Fox executives and anchors about how Fox News should prepare for life after Trump.”

Vanity Fair cited “an executive who’s spoken with Ryan” who simply said: “Paul is embarrassed about Trump and now he has the power to do something about it.”

Ask Glenn Beck how was it is to get cable companies to carry your show and I have 400 or so channels on my cable service and watch about a dozen of them occasionally. Surely there is at least one of those channels that are underperforming.

Ryan's behavior is sickening. There was a time, when I mistakenly imagined him to be on our side, before his 2012 race for Vice President. But this is not only deliberate sabotage of traditional American values, but a brutal eyeopener into the intellectual limitations of a false prophet.

He had a reputation for being intelligent. But one wonders if he even understands what is at stake!

I suspect his name is on the list of members of congress whom the government had to pay out millions for sexual harassment issues. I think he lied to Trump on immigration and bringing it to the floor and Trump finally said enough and the Little Sh*t split and this is his way of trying for some payback.

If FNC did this they would go into a death spiral rather quickly and never recover. Hannity, Ingraham and Carlson would be gone and so would their ratings.
