Iran is prepared to accept changes to the 2015 nuclear agreement and not seek nuclear weapons if the United States agrees to the deal and lifts sanctions, a spokesman for Iran said Wednesday.
If the sanctions are ended and there is a return to the [nuclear] accord, there is room for giving reassurances toward breaking the deadlock and the President has even a proposal for small changes in the accord, Ali Rabiei said on state TV, according to Reuters.
The news service added that Irans state-run Press TV said on Wednesday that Tehran would be willing to reenter the deal on the conditions of early approval of an additional protocol by Irans parliament, nuclear deal approval by U.S. Congress, lifting of all sanctions by Washington.
The reports come as Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is in New York attending the United Nations General Assembly.

They desperately need some sanctions relief - just not desperately enough yet.
Crank it up to 11
Time’s on our side, not theirs. At this rate, their society will collapse long before they ever develop a deliverable nuclear weapon.
Don’t say “I’m willing to deal”, make an offer. Then we talk.
No. The obummer deal is dead. A new, locked-down-tight deal is needed. Let the mullahs squeal in pain...
How about “No!”
You can’t trust Iran (or any muslim state for that matter), you sure as hell can’t trust our congress... I’d say “NO DEAL”!
“small changes in the accord.”
Ha. Fuggeddaboutitt.
I believe I’d trust North Korea before I would Iran.
How about this: we need NOTHING from these scum, so don’t lift the sanctions, don’t have anything to do with ‘em? Let the Saudis figure out what to do with Iran.
Yeah, I’m still a little aggravated about the US being involved in any ME stupidity.
Another fifteen minutes in the microwave should do it.
What? Just days ago they said they would never deal with us?
I guess no food is not fun.
Not until every imam is in the streets begging for a crust of moldy bread.
I don't know about trust, but at least DPRK will claim responsibility when they attack someone, rather than lie like Iran. My trust in either to abide by a treaty is pretty much zero.
It’s a trap!
RE: Iran ready to accept nuclear deal changes
And these changes are WHAT exactly?
You caught me stealing cookies out of the cookie jar. If you don’t spank me I promise to be good forever.
Surrender.
