Trump Hits Back At Lindsey Graham: If You Think It Was Weak Not To Bomb Iran, Remind Yourself How Iraq Turned Out
My favorite thing about Trump is how little he gives Graham on foreign policy despite Graham kissing his ass relentlessly in hopes of turning him into a hawk. Its commendable on the merits, in that Trumps reluctance to wage war is a welcome corrective to the McCain/Graham-style of hyperinterventionism that ruled the GOP for years. But its also gratifying on a gut level, even as a Trump skeptic. One of Trumps more likable qualities is his penchant for publicly humiliating all the lickspittle Republicans who try and ride his coattails, writes C.J. Ciaramella of Reason, remembering how Chris Christie was treated during the 2016 campaign. Its true! What could be more enjoyable than watching Graham toady to the president day and night after dismissing him as a kook and a national security threat in 2016, believing that it will buy him influence over foreign policy, and as his reward having him endure daily reminders that Trump is far more inclined towards Rand Pauls fopo views than Lindseys?

From Saudi Arabia ... not from the U.S.
“I wouldnt doubt if Valerie Jarret and company arent in on this. Just my paranoid opinion.”
I think her mother is a high mucky-muck in the Muslim Brotherhood. Good chance you’re right.
Actually, the IRI was afraid of Bush
Idiot Bush took out Irans biggest enemy, Saddam. In place of Saddams check on Iran, Bush sponsored the creation of an Iran- friendly And with secularist Saddams heavy hand lifted , the jihadis ran wild through Iraq, genociding the ancient Christian community. - all on Bushs watch
And Bush spent (or borrowed) trillions to create this disaster. Funny how a lot of conservatives only get worked up about wasted trillions when AOC or Bernie are proposing it. We can throw trillions down Middle East ratholes and lots of conservatives dont raise a peep
It went back down because the Saudi’s said today they will be back in full production in a few weeks and the worldwide supply can easily absorb a few weeks.
Again, thanks to President Trump turning the US into a net exporter.
While we no longer need ME or anyone else’s oil. The rest of the world does. And, the economy is NOT just an American economy. The markets are interconnected.
Again, no one is talking war. We are talking about retaliation. Big difference.
While we no longer need ME or anyone elses oil. The rest of the world does
Then let the rest of the world handle it. The fact that its not being seen as a crisis by them reinforces the fact its more manufactured hysteria by neocons and warlovers like Lindsee
It went back down because the Saudis said today they will be back in full production in a few weeks and the worldwide supply can easily absorb a few weeks.
In other words, no crisis. Just an excuse for Saudis to lobby us into military action
Hope Im not seeming disrespectful, but were you a supporter of Bushs invasion of Iraq? If so, have you learned nothing?
Reagans foreign policy was a success. And he launched no wars. Bushs was a disaster.
“Sanctions are killing them”
It’s hurting them, because they can’t send money & arms to all their proxy terrorist groups around the globe, but not killing them. It’s very bad for the Iranian people, but the regime doesn’t really care about them.
[Trump is emulating Reagan instead of Bush. Reagan stayed clear of Middle East wars, wmeven after our marines were killed by terrorists. The neocons denounced him for showing weakness. They were more successful with George Bush - he took the kind of advice youre giving. It destroyed his presidency and elected Barack Obama]

I just watched a clip of the previous pResident saying “you can’t just drill your way to lower gas prices.” We did. We also may have drilled our way out of many costly foreign entanglements.
Baloney. John Bolton and the globalist mutants who pay his salary have been clamoring for regime change in Iran for years.
Iran is the number one exporter of terrorism. They are developing nukes and ICBMs, they are led by religious fanatics who believe out is their moral responsibility to end the world sop as to usher in the last Imam. They re not Iraq Mr. Trump
Reagan attacked BOTH Iran and Libya. I know. I took part in BOTH attacks. He did so for the exact same reasons President Trump will do so when he deems it necessary.
Reagan, as Trump, were/are both reluctant warriors, so to speak.
Graham, Bolton, etc..are not reluctant. They are eager to do so at the drop of a pin.
“jihadis ran wild through Iraq,”
Because he didn’t take down the Iranian regime when he had the chance. That was the biggest mistake of his presidency. Iran was vulnerable at that time and the IRGC was a fraction of what it is now.
Look, Linda, the mullahs dont care how many of their soldiers die, how many of f their planes or boats are destroyed. What they care about is money and power. Weakening them financially is the best long game. Ask 30000 eighteen year olds who died for in Vietnam if war is always the best answer.
Excuse me? Who did President Trump just fire last week?
Who did President Trump remark that he disagreed with and told the media during an impromptu presser advocated to attack everyone and anyone at a moments notice.
And, President Trump did so with obvious mockery.
A golden oldie.
I dont believe youre paranoid at all. The globalist are desperate to bring down Trump by crashing the economy. Fortunately, Trump hasnt taken their bait so far
With that said, I believe Trump will act if Americans are killed. Once valerie jarret and company figure out that is what it will take to make Trump take action....then dont put it past them (jarret and company) to take action to have Americans die. Yes, little paranoid opinion also
“, the mullahs dont care how many of their soldiers die, how many of f their planes or boats are destroyed.”
I’m well aware of that.
“Weakening them financially is the best long game.”
Only if you don’t let up.
There are other avenues along with sanctions, before war.
Yes..emulating Reagan and emulating George Washington who urged in his Farewell Address for USA to avoid foreign entanglements.
