The New York Times co-authors of the book, The Education of Brett Kavanaugh: An Investigation made a stunning revelation to Lawrence O'Donnell on MSNBC on Monday. Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly revealed that their essay included the all important admission by the supposed victim that she did not remember the incident in question and that information was removed by the Times editors.
Here are the admissions by the co-authors which has caused many to brand the New York Times article as Fake News:

NYT intentionally smeared Kavanaugh. This wasnt an omission or an oversight.
The current Editor-in-Chief needs to quit. The paper is getting just as bad as the Jayson Blair fiasco from 2003-2004.
I agree. This was not inadvertent. Congressional Dems were also tipped so they could immediately jump into faux outrage and demand impeachment.
God bless Molly Hemingway of TheFederalist for spotting their corruption from her pre-release-copy of the book and blowing the whistle on these evildoers.
I was born on Wednesday but not last Wednesday.
I suspect that two employees may find themselves brushing up on their resumes after what they said. The head honchos at the NYT won’t take well to being called out by their employees.
Simple solution - fire all of them.
If she said she didn’t remember, there should not have been an article at all.
Phew. Weak excuse. Childish excuse. Perfect liberal response to getting caught in lies.
There’s no consequence and they know it.
Time has proven it.
So they publish a story and then they wink and nudge as key facts get omitted.
“Oooops. Sorryyy!!! *wink wink wink*”
The editors removed any facts that did not keep with the editorial story line Pravda on the Hudson.
I used to be, long ago, a daily NYTimes reader, and gradually learn from the Conservative magazines I had not stopped reading, how facts that went against Pravda On The Hudson’s story line were ALWAYS left out.
What that rag had become very polished and accomplished at doing was making ALL their “news reports” merely attempts to disguise pure editorials. I came to understand that an avid reader of mostly Pravda on The Hudson was not well informed, just well indoctrinated.
Why didnt Max Stier bring this up to get him off the Starr team?
I was a little disturbed when I saw Asman on Varney this AM, talking to Kilmeade and they both agreed that this story will not just stop. That it will continue on almost forever and there will be an asterisk beside Justice Kavanaugh’s name so that the details will always be with him.
Personally, I don’t think that will happen, but if it does, that will be one of the great injustices of all time.
The New York Times should NEVER HAVE THAT KIND OF POWER.
