Morning Joe might have been more motivated by concern for Democrats than with upholding journalistic standards. But the show did today rip the New York Times for its "glaring omission" in failing to include in the original version of its article about a new accusation against Brett Kavanaugh the fact that the alleged victim doesn't want to speak and that friends say doesn't recall the incident.
Joe Scarborough also criticized the Times for failing to mention that the person who brought forth the new allegation, Max Stier, was on the other side from Kavanaugh in the Ken Starr probe into Monica Lewinsky and other scandals.
Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski warned Democrats that jumping on this latest story could backfire on them.

Is joe growing a backbone? Last week he stopped mika about that stuff about Barron not being trumps son.

Gosh, maybe their word processing software had a glitch, or maybe they just "forgot" about what was in their own book. Couldn't possibly be that they were perfectly okay with distorting the facts because the NYT has an anti-Trump bias....

Boogity-boogity-boogity. Make enough loud noises and scary faces, and maybe Brett Kavanaugh will be intimidated into abandoning a lifetime of reasoned approach and deliberate consideration of the matters before him on the bench.
This has the secondary objective of so thoroughly discouraging any potential replacement for RBG, that nobody will be offered up except an ultra-left activist revisionist toadie.
The Democrats are just going to have to win the 2020 Presidential election.

The Times knew what it was doing and it has had the desired effect. JoMika is just part of the smokescreen.
Indeed. Why is he surprised? The Democrats have been doing this for years, particularly in regards to President Trump. Always recall that the same Democrats promised to impeach Donald Trump before he took the Office of the President. Literally the next day after he was elected they started. The only reason they didn't promise to impeach him even before he was elected was because they did not believe he was going to get elected.
And Joe is surprised that they're doing this now? I don't think he is surprised, rather he is scared they've gone completely around the bend so far that even some of the moronic Democrat voters will notice it.

No concern at all about the intrinsic dishonesty and unfairness of fabricating and publishing false claims.

Well, there is an old saying about men and their women; no matter how good looking she is, eventually the guy gets tired of listening to her nonsense. This is not an endorsement of how attractive Mika is, just an observation.

“New Voices in Science and Technology Studies: A C3 Symposium,” set for early November at the private Massachusetts-based liberal arts university, invited scholars to submit papers if they represent a “historically underrepresented group.”
The call for papers specifies that means either “African Americans, Alaska Natives, Arab Americans, Asian Americans, Latinx, Native Americans, Native Hawaiians, and other Pacific Islanders.”
Those two are a really bizarre couple.
Putting out this type of story could make the process of choosing a new Supreme Court Justice harder. Democrats will draw out the discovery process, padding lies along the way... attempting to sabotage the vote long enough so IF they get some commie in office - that person will pick the new Supreme Court Justice.
It'll boast the same attendance as the DC pro-impeachment rally.
