I got work waiting in PA for when even Staten Island is affected too much by the Pezzonovante in Manhattan and other boroughs.
Another term win by a leftist gov or mayor may do the trick.
Will try one last major effort to vote them out.
Then the “for sale” sign goes up

back on the southern tier. Impoverished land owners are not allowed to have natural gas companies drill and make the region rich.

foolishness insanity at the link. "the Cuomo-engineered shutdown of the Indian Point nuclear-power plant begins next year: It supplies a quarter of New York Citys electricity, and theres no way to get enough green replacement power in time." Foolishness, insanity, call it what you will, but just how are these people so utterly stupid when the facts are starring them in the face? Answer: environmentalism has become their religion.
We are here: If there are no absolutes by which to judge society, then society is absolute. Francis Schaeffer, How Shall We Then Live? (Old Tappan NJ: Fleming H Revell Company, 1976), p. 224.

New York State could be a net EXPORTER of natural gas, if the surprising large quantities that could be released by fracking were permitted to be developed. Natural gas is going to be the bridge fuel to power this country until Thorium-fueled Molten Salt reactors are adopted on a wide scale. As another interim power source, the development and deployment of Plasma Arch Trash Disposal units to reduce and recycle the waste stream that comes out of New York City alone on a daily basis would end virtually all the need for land disposal sites that New York State had long ago ran out of, and could, in fact, be used to REDUCE these mountains of buried landfill trash.
“Reduce, Recycle, Reuse” is much more than just a slogan, you know. Technology already exists to make these strategies very much a highly efficient and cost-effective means to turn negatives into great social benefit.
But people are going to have to stop being such mindless jerks.
