Just some info. We live in Bluffton SC, about twenty miles west of Hilton Head. Still some moderate wind and light rain in our area inland. No damage in our area that we can see. Talked to a friend on the island, they lost power sometime early morning but is back on now. Local news is reporting light damage with about twenty trees down on the island.

Dodging tornadoes this morning near WilmingtonSame here just a few miles inland from Wilmington, near Lake Waccamaw. This stuff is getting old - we've gone from direct hits every two years (Matthew and Florence), to once a year.

The critters know, somehow. My hummingbirds here in PA have not left yet. They are usually gone by the end of August. I think they are waiting for Dorian to get lost before they start their long arduous journey south. 🐸🐝🦋🦅

Well, a little zigging and a little zagging today but it’s pretty much stuck to the forecast track.
I think the threat is over.
Although it’s only been a hurricane for 8 days it seems much longer.
Very sad what it did to the Bahamas.
