Excellent news. It will all work out.

President Trump knows what he is doing.

I also read that negotiations are restarting at a news level.

Trump out-maneuvered them.

When in a high stake poker game and you run out of chips, politely and silently leave the table.

There’s nothing left for them to tariff other than airplane parts. Chinese purchases of US goods are declining nearly to zero. Trump has hurt America.

Trump called their bluff.

Last ChiCom increase was designed to panic market, amplify recession talk and undermine Trump going in to G7.

This came on the heels of his delaying the Christmas tech tariffs so they may have seen a softening on US side.

Trump immediately announcing new tariffs and stating that his only regret was not implemementing more tariffs earlier pretty much destroys this thinking.

Only remaining strategies are to delay, weaken and violate but now the ChiComs are walking a fine line because of the growing impact on their own economy.

According to info on Instagram, sourced by Bloomberg BusinessWeek, old defaulted debt from imperial Qing dynasty, which amounts to 1 trillion on defaulted debt, might help Trump in current trade negotiations.

Chicoms should are seriously outgunned for a trade war.

The last time they tried “retaliating” with $5 billion per year of tariffs ( to save face), President Trump slapped them with about $27 billion per year - the same day. The bottom line is that anything that does not benefit China, was long ago excluded from their markets. Tariffs on American goods just make things they need more expensive for them.

I don’t think the chicoms can be trusted with a deal - they will have to be bankrupted. Their debt is sky high. Cut off their cash flow, and the whole house of cards will come down.

Probably because when China announced their new tariffs on $75 billion, Trump announced larger counter-tariffs later that same day.

“China Indicates It Won’t Retaliate Now on New U.S. Tariffs”

China is out of bullets. They have no leverage. Never had any in the first place. They are an insignificant trading partner for us. We only export 140 billion of a 18 trillion dollar economy to them. We do more business with Mexico or Canada. Get rid of enemy China altogether as a trading partner and let their economy collapse into an agrarian society
