President Donald Trump criticized Democrats on Tuesday after Rep. Ilhan Omar suggested that the United States should cut aid to Israel after officials blocked her and Rep. Rashida Tlaib from visiting the country. Trump indicated that the suggestion was ridiculous.
“Five years ago, the concept of even talking about this … cutting off aid to Israel because of two people that hate Israel and hate Jewish people — I can’t believe we’re even having this conversation,” he said.
The president commented to reporters about Tlaib in the Oval Office, speaking during a visit with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis. He condemned Democrats for defending Tlaib and Omar and their comments against Israel and the Jewish people.
“I think any Jewish people that vote for a Democrat, I think it shows either a total lack of knowledge or great disloyalty,” he said.
Trump was referring to “disloyalty” to fellow Jews, not to America — a claim that is distinct from the antisemitic “dual loyalty” charge that Omar and Tlaib have both used to describe Americans who support Israel. His comments echo frustration from some politically conservative Jews, who complain that liberal Jews continue to vote for Democrats despite the party’s anti-Israel drift and increasing tolerance for antisemitism.
Trump said that both Omar and Tlaib were planning on a “propaganda tour” against Israel if they were allowed into the country.

he’s absolutely right and I’m Jewish who has family in israel..unfortunately many American Jews have zero loyalty to Israel..she could be wiped off the map tomorrow and they could care less..America is our home but Israel is our homeland and ALL Jews should care about her survival but many don’t especially the young ones they lost their way..they consider Israel a country far far away and don’t care what happens to her

once upon a time Dems used to be pro israel..going back to when Clinton was president Dems supported Israel than something changed and they became the pro Hamas anti Israel party..their loyalty to kiss Muslim was trumped supporting Israel’s existence
There are actually lots of Jews in America who hate Israel because they think they must have greater loyalty to Democrats. These are typically non-believing non-practicing Jews by ancestry only. But by rejecting God, a person basically trades loyalties to a false one, the one of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4). Revelation 2:9 still applies in this case.

I think for most, it would be more accurate to say “unloyal”. “Disloyal” implies a break of allegiance. Many Jews in the US grew up never having a sense of allegiance to Israeli Jews or, for that matter, to any other Jews. Oftener they just identify as leftists or Democrats or “free thinkers” (i.e., leftists or Democrats).

my mom’s friend is a liberal jew..grew up in a household that rarely celebrated the high holy days..has never been to Israel..she votes dem 100 percent of the time since they support baby murder

Land for peace has never worked. Palestinians just want more land and all the Jews still dead. Look at Gaza. They moved out all the Jews (as if they somehow don’t deserve the right to live where they want) and gave it to the Palis. Their very next move was to use the land as a launch pad for rocket attacks into Israel.
He is so right. And especially about their intent to stage a propaganda tour.
Just think - an Instagram photo of them participating in a noisy, rock and Molotov cocktail-throwing protest and getting arrested by Israeli police - (Israeli police portrayed as a bunch of Bull Connors) - just because they were “exercising their right for free speech.”
What a tasty morsel for the international press.
