In Wednesday night's Democratic presidential debate in Detroit, Tulsi Gabbard decided to drop her opposition research book right on Kamala Harris.
Amid a broader conversation about criminal justice reform between the California senator and former Vice President Joe Biden, the moderators turned to the Hawaii congresswoman. And she unloaded:
"Senator Harris says she's proud of her record as a prosecutor and that she'll be a prosecutor president.
“But I'm deeply concerned about this record. There are too many examples to cite but she put over 1,500 people in jail for marijuana violations and then laughed about it when she was asked if she ever smoked marijuana.
"She blocked evidence -- she blocked evidence that would have freed an innocent man from death row until the courts forced her to do so. She kept people in prison beyond their sentences to use them as cheap labor for the state of California."

But she let all the Bankers off during 2009 when they got caught committing Billions of Dollars in Fraudulent Mortgages,
Those are the kinds of things that would get Harris the moderate vote in the general. And they are why Joe will pick her as his VP if he wins the nomination. There would be a kind of symmetry here - Joe is the white VP to a black president. He then picks a black woman for his VP so the Dems have the opportunity to anoint yet another black person as their changemaker, but this time, also a woman.
I thought that exchange was one of those “grand slam during the world series” moments. Say what you will, it was huge. From the time it hit Tulsi’s lips right up to and including Harris’ arrogant response in the interview.
And make no mistake, she sees herself as above Tulsi, and you and I as nothing but vote fodder. Pathetic.
Senile Joe and Kommiela couldn’t handle Gabbard if they tag teamed her, distracted the ref, and had Burny toss them in a folding chair.
Both of them are laughably pitiful.
I would expect to see some blood.

It was very enjoyable to watch. Now Gabbard had better watch her back. Harris is one nasty, evil woman.

I don’t think she is coming back from that hit.
I can’t figure out why some on the right are so enraptured with the Hare Krishna candidate. The Democrats certainly don’t like her. As a traditional national security conservative, I see Gabbard as the worst of both worlds - weak on national security and a far leftist on economic issues.
Well, when you see Harris reading out bingo numbers to a couple of dozen disinterested seniors (one of whom lectures her to “keep your hands off our health care”) you know NO ONE gives a damn about her “campaign.”
What a horrible nasty woman. If she’s the VP candidate on Team RAT we have to work EXTRA hard to make sure they don’t win, because that vile creature one heartbeat away from the Presidency is simply not acceptable.

She’s prettier than Joe Biden.
She’s the best candidate they have.
I wouldn’t vote for her, because her politics are garbage, and she’s dishonest, but she quick on her feet, and she’s hot.
I hope she wrecks their whole field.
I’m surprised Obama’s choice candidate went down after one broadside. This is like the R primaries, Tulsi is Chris Christie and Kamala is Marco. The SS Kamala is listing.
Tulsi has enough “cards” and less baggage than the rest of the Clowns. She might be the best they can present.
