Jeffrey Epstein said he had dirt on tech oligarchs: Report
Washington Examiner ^

Convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein claimed to have dirt on prominent people in the technology sector.
The multimillionaire made the boast to New York Times columnist James Stewart during a conversation at his Manhattan mansion last year.
"He said people in Silicon Valley had a reputation for being geeky workaholics, but that was far from the truth: They were hedonistic and regular users of recreational drugs. He said hed witnessed prominent tech figures taking drugs and arranging for sex (Mr. Epstein stressed that he never drank or used drugs of any kind)," Stewart wrote.
Stewart did not name anyone in particular and it is unclear whether Epstein told him any names.
Stewart said this 90-minute conversation was on background and could not be attributed to Epstein. But Stewart said he determined that condition expired due to Epstein's apparent suicide in a Manhattan jail cell over the weekend.
Stewart said he sought an interview with Epstein to discuss whether he was advising Tesla and founder Elon Musk to find a new chief executive. Tesla denies seeking Epstein's help, but Epstein told Stewart that he was considered "radioactive" and Tesla would deny that he had given advice if it ever became public.
Epstein said this stigma did not stop people from confiding in him and even told Stewart that he wanted to become a minister so that they could feel assured their disclosures would remain confidential.

Any billionaire, or hundred millionaire, that owns an island can assumed to be living a life they cannot live in civil society.

Behind him [Epstein] was a table covered with more photographs. I noticed one of Mr. Epstein with former President Bill Clinton, and another of him with the director Woody Allen. Displaying photos of celebrities who had been caught up in sex scandals of their own also struck me as odd.

Yeah, I can see Mark Zuckerberg as a pasty-faced baby-raper.

Set up sex appointments for what reason??
I was a relatively handsome guy but not gonna make the cover of GQ, and I won’t go into my private affairs in my single years, but I never had to pay for a kiss.
These guys must have MANY women willing to date them.
It doesn’t make sense.
Unless it was underage girls. Then it makes sense.

That’s umm, incredibly disturbing.
I heard that a lot of these guys are into s&m and who knows what else.
Whatever floats your boat but I think it says something about the person.
The ones who want abuse are insecure and the ones who abuse were maybe bullied or something.
I dunno.

People on the ground floor of several tech giants have said de facto orgies were common in the early going.
