Jeffrey Epstein, the multimillionaire who had recently been indicted on charges of sex trafficking, has been found dead of an apparent suicide in his jail cell. According to a statement from the Department of Justice’s Federal Bureau of Prisons, “Epstein was found unresponsive in his cell in the Special Housing Unit from an apparent suicide at the Metropolitan Correctional Center” in New York City at 6:30 a.m.
The Associated Press reported that “Fire officials received a call at 6:39 a.m. Saturday that Epstein was in cardiac arrest, and he was pronounced dead at New York Presbyterian-Lower Manhattan Hospital.”
The FBI is now investigating the incident.
Jerry Dunleavy, a reporter at the Washington Examiner, spoke by phone with the Spokesperson for NYC’s Office of Chief Medical Examiner, who told him: “We are investigating the cause of death and we have an open case. There is no official cause of death yet—the medical examiner has to do their job.”
The immediate question is how it was possible for a man supposedly under suicide watch, to take his own life—particularly as there had already been one potentially life-threatening event. On July 24, 2019, it was reported that Epstein had been found on the floor of his cell, “semi-conscious, despondent and crying with slight bruising around his neck.”
At the time, CBS News reported that a “source said it was not clear whether his injuries were self-inflicted, but that Epstein was put on suicide watch at the correctional facility as a precautionary measure.”

Two guards at the MCC who normally have overnight shift that watches over suicide risk inmates, were both told to leave area 3 hours earlier for scheduled “Maintenance” to jail cells and hallways. This morning Epstein was found dead.

Me thinks you are right. Lets see now in NY alone here are a few interested parties,DOJ of NY, SDNY,DOJ Baar,Gov. of NY,Mayor of NYC,about a million police officers of the NYPD,Federal court system,FBI,CIA,,many others too numerous to mention.
So all of the above were fooled as Epstein calmly took his belt and hung himself in a well lit room,so bright he reportedly could not sleep,a room supposedly guarded 24/7 with NYC's finest,on and on it goes.

Hard to imagine how Epstein fooled all those people so well that he was able to hang himself after screwing up the first time.
For all we know he’s back on pedo island(Little St.James) right now with a lot of company....!!
The purpose of the investigation will be to diffuse public outcry over foul play. We already know the outcome of the investigation. The purpose is to make it look like the government is concerned and not corrupt. In a few years the public will forget.

The other possibility is that he faked his own death with the assistance of several bribed officials. If he’s powerful with $550 million, why wouldn’t he try? He would just need to drop off the grid forever.

The IG reports to him. As I understand it, the IG will be investigating the actions of the officials involved in the Epstein’s detention. Barr has also involved the FBI to investigate the alleged suicide, i.e. “crime scene”. What more or different should be done?
My concern is that the obozo FBI corruption, brought to the light of day since 2017, and the lack of action to prosecute anyone thus far related thereto, will impact how the nation views the results - divided. In the end, will the criminal, politically powerful/connected class appear to get away again? A government that cannot protect an extremely high profile detainee with allegedly suicidal tendencies is supposed to protect us by taking away our 2nd Amendment rights? Uh huh ... I remain skeptical that anything will come out about Epstein before the 2020 election related to the truth of the matter.

I will bet that he was STRANGLED.
