Hey, kiddies, do you suppose one of you could have SPOKEN UP WHILE THIS BLOKE WAS STILL IN HIGH SCHOOL???????
“Dead people can say anything you want them to say.”
- John F. Kennedy, 1964 State of the Union Address
How did he get a weapon?
As I understand it, a red flag law would be designed to prohibit a-holes like this from buying guns
Im not clear why thats a bad idea. Convince me
Those lists were known to the school authorities, and the people on them were informed about it.
Juvenile records are sealed when they turn 18.
So, whoever ignored this, facilitated his behavior, didn’t see him charged and locked up, have blood on their hands. They share responsibility.
For extreme cases like this, he should have been flagged. New laws might help but are there existing laws that might have been applied. First, making threats, conspiring, etc.
Here’s my bet: This guy was a left-wing radicalized, sexually frustrated incel who took revenge on the “cool sect people” who constantly rejected him. This is why he shot up the night club district. He’s spending all day every day playing video games and listening to music telling him that hate is good and that he should strike back at those who torment him. All these negative emotions are reinforced and ratified by like-minded defectives on the internet and in the MSM. There are time bombs like this maniac ticking away all over the country.
Would you want that list controlled by the Obama administration? JB Pritzker? Bill deBlasio?
Your understanding is inaccurate.
Red flag laws mean anyone can contact the police with “concerns” about the stability of a gun owner. The police then come and take that person’s weapons and issue him a show cause order to appear in court and explain why the confiscation should not be permanent and ascertain whether or not he should be subject to mental health evaluation.
I think the way one becomes an INCEL is by having ridiculous parenting that never allows the kid to even get a boo boo. Look at those kids! They look like they came out of test tube.
p
!. No due process. All proposals allow any LEO or health professional to add a person’s name to the list on the word of an angry ex-partner or liberal neignbor.
2. The list is secret. The only way you’ll find out if you are on the list is to be denied while you are at the store.
3. There is no process to get your name removed from the list once it is on.
4. There is no due process to protect the rights of the accused. Guns can be removed from your possession without you ever being allowed to state your case before a judge.
5. There is no penalty for for falsely reporting that you are “a danger”.
6. Your firearms can be held indefinitely while you try to prove your innocence, which could cost you thousands.
7. If you are deranged enough to be denied the right to purchase a firearm, you probably should be locked up.
Convince me
Why should I? You post on FR, which means you're mentally ill.
I'm sure I can get a teacher and a social worker to agree with me...then have yo put away.
See how this works?
“How was this guy ever allowed to walk the streets?”

Though he was arrested for stuff in High School, the Principle elected to not go further. So there was no conviction...
Murder and Rape lists.
The man was nothing more than a Democrat following in former President Clinton’s footsteps.
Talk with anybody who lived in the USSR and they’ll tell you that’s EXACTLY how it works.
The problem is with who gets to decide what is a red flag.
