Politicians have a constitutional right to be stupid, but Pete Buttigieg is taking advantage of that right. Pete is wrong about religion, abortion, and homosexuality. I don't want someone with three major failures in the White House.
In a recent conversation with USA Today, Buttigieg characterized conservative Christians as "saying so much about what Christ said so little about, and so little about what he said so much about." Pete was using the absence of evidence argument i.e., since Christ didn't prohibit perversion, then criticism of LGBTQ crowd is wrong. However, that is fallacious, since Christ didn't speak about cannibalism, but I assume, though not sure, that Pete would not defend it. Pete is parroting the same silly, shallow argument that Christ's words are more important than other Scripture, but that undercuts scriptural authority. If a statement is in the Bible, it is to be properly interpreted by the context.
If it is biblical, it doesn't matter whether Christ said it or not. Moses and the Apostle Paul surely made it clear that perversion is an abnormality, an aberration, and an abomination. ...

Looking to a Sodomite for interpretation of holy scripture is like dining out of a sewage tank.
Jesus condemns homosexuality in Chapter 22 of Revelation. People forget that Jesus also speaks throughout this book of the Bible.
Jeer the Queer. Veto Beto.
Have you noticed that gay people are NEVER accused of sexual harassment?
LOL, barf suppressed!
Literally.
Are those the only wrong positions he has?
I would caution also that Episcopalians are not Christians, they are a cult, basically an imitation of Roman Cathlolicism in their outward appearance. But they don’t believe in the authority of Scripture, they don’t believe in sin, they have a different understanding of baptism that is not Christian (water baptism gets you to Heaven without having to do anything else) as well as about the meaning of baptism, that you enter into a “baptismal covenant” to do social justice.
Left ECUSA (now called TEC) in NOV 2003 when the presiding bishop consecrated the incoming NH diocesan bishop, Gene Robinson, an open homosexual who left his wife for sodomy with another man. Sad to see a lot of septos and octos remaining in the denomination who are biblically orthodox. Once they depart this mortal coil, TEC will be completely DemonRat.
What I love about this utter stupidity that comes from people of the left is this... What did Jesus use at the synagogue? When you have the answer then you can have a conversation about what Jesus taught. HINT: there was no New Testament in the synagogue.
John 21:25
American Standard Version
And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself would not contain the books that should be written.
Bottom line is that Jesus ... the Messiah ... words and deeds are not all recorded. He taught about the abomination of sodomy and sexual immorality ... no doubt.
Jesus does speak to what constitutes marriage, if not directly speaking against homosexuality. In Matthew 19:3-6
The Pharisees also came to Him, testing Him, and saying to Him, Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?
And He answered and said to them, Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning made them male and female, and said, For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh?
So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.
Notice He says male and female - also, as someone else pointed out, the Scriptures used in Jesus time was the Torah, Pentateuch, (the Law and the Prophets i.e. the Old Testament) which clearly name homosexuality as sin.
A very wise observation. What about rape?
Understand he is known around town as Buttplug.
When I read his name, I render it as Buttplug.
The phenomenon is very similar to how I
mentally render African-American into something else.
Christians as “saying so much about what Christ said so little about, “”
EVERY utterance of Christ’s is profoundly meaningful. There is no moral hiarchy based on how many words He used.
A faggie presumes to give lectures in morality to the rest of us “breeders”......oh?
Buttyfag chooses to ignore both Old and New Testament teachings against homosexuality.
