Former first lady Michelle Obama is resisting calls for her to run for president, saying there's "zero chance" that she will seek the Oval Office.
In a new interview published in Amtrak's magazine The National, Obama sat down with 12-year-old journalist Hilde Lysiak to promote her Better Make Room campaign aimed at engaging college students.
Lysiak pressed Obama about seeking the highest office in the land, something she has previously expressed no interest in.

She’d be personally foolish to run. At age 55 she’s financially secure, her kids are out of the fishbowl and probably set for life, she’s got Hollywood and book deals that require little work, and is eyeing a California mansion. She can travel and spend as she pleases and even disappear from prying eyes.
In what world is Michelle Obama a remotely competent politician?
MO was a drag on Barack the entire time. Even as First Lady, her performance was abysmal in every respect.
Not only did she repeatedly embarrass her husband with petty personal behavior in public, but the way she went around the world on the public dime like she was a movie star is going to come back to bite in a big way. Not to mention that her signature programs were both catastrophes: the school lunch program is notorious among a lot of young now-voters, and her organic gardening fiasco is going to expose her as a Marie Antoinette parody.

They don’t see themselves the way we do...their opinion of themselves is projected, and they are adored and flawless. She is running, and it is all planned out and the undoing will be the arrogance...she truly believes she won’t have to do any work...and to her/him/it, deserved!
She understands what fail x2 means.
“Famous for being famous” is not a qualification to become POTUS...
They manage to run inexperience and count on notoriety, gender and color of the skin as potential choices.
Correction....not all the people of America but a specific subset. To lead the dim party these days one has to be at least slightly mentally ill. So that is the pool they have to draw upon.
Michelle Obama better stay hidden in the bushes and closets for she is the product of the words and outcome of the great Martin Luther King. She is just like so many African-American low life people that hide behind the color of her skin, when it really is the content of her character that sinks her and her America hating husband. The two of them belong together with the scores of other men & women of color that our great POTUS, Trump has fingered and unmasked how these people like Elijah Cummings, Al Sharpton, Maxine Waters, James Clyburn, the NAACP, the CBC, etc. have used and abused African-Americans and kept them prisoners to a life poverty and crime for many years...while they filled their pockets at the expense of these innocent, rejected people.
Her hubby Barack Obama at this very moment is most likely being fingered by the hordes of DOJ, Intelligence, security folks that were and are traitors to the USA. They are now singing like canaries to DOJ/FBI folks that Obama was the true mastermind of the Russian Collusion farce!!! Instead of being POTUS, Michelle you are going to end up dancing alone, while your criminal hubby pays his dues to society in prison!!! It’s not the color of your skin , it’s the content of your character that counts, and, you Michelle have no decent character whatsoever. Trump would destroy you in the first debate!!! Girl..if you have any smarts at all...stay hidden out of sight, just like the two of you low life abusers deserve and are doing!!!
Just like any Republican choices in previous years, . McCain? Bob Dole? Bush? Really? I gave up voting. No use anyway.

She and her minions are in the background making sure that no one gets too far ahead like Bathhouse Barry did in 2008, and anyone remotely threatening is smacked down. No doubt Tulsi Gabbard suddenly discovered a trove of oppo research on Kamala Harris came in over the transom just in time for the debate.
