Former first lady Michelle Obama is resisting calls for her to run for president, saying there's "zero chance" that she will seek the Oval Office.
In a new interview published in Amtrak's magazine The National, Obama sat down with 12-year-old journalist Hilde Lysiak to promote her Better Make Room campaign aimed at engaging college students.
Lysiak pressed Obama about seeking the highest office in the land, something she has previously expressed no interest in.

The slate they do have running is appalling. Out of all the people in America, this is the best they can come up with. It is just mind boggling.
Michael is a liar. That said running for POTUS takes work and his current lifestyle is pretty cushy.

In what world is Michelle Obama a remotely competent politician?
MO was a drag on Barack the entire time. Even as First Lady, her performance was abysmal in every respect.
Not only did she repeatedly embarrass her husband with petty personal behavior in public, but the way she went around the world on the public dime like she was a movie star is going to come back to bite in a big way. Not to mention that her signature programs were both catastrophes: the school lunch program is notorious among a lot of young now-voters, and her organic gardening fiasco is going to expose her as a Marie Antoinette parody.
Makes sense to me. It takes a “Zero” to know about “zero chances”.
It would be entertaining to exit the Democratic Convention...dragged into some massive opera, and Michelle Obama is appointed as the candidate. Trump nickname for her? Obama-lite?
I think a lot of Democratic supporters out there would be angry if this reached some crisis stage, and the Convention just invented a path for her to come out of nowhere to be the candidate. Probably a quarter of them would just stay home.
Praise God! She’s the one Dem I think could actually win. Not without playing the race card, the vagina card and the entitlement card, mind you, but she’d have the party marching in goosestep behind her with full media worship.
At a brokered convention, Michael could be VP, with Terry McAuliffe as President. (Posted this suggestion, here, twice earlier).
VP is a nothing job, with ALL the perks. McAwful, like Hillary, has much cash.
Can you imagine Biden and Michelle...Trump’s nicknames for them would be ‘Obama-illusion’ and ‘Obama-lite’.
Regardless, she wouldn’t even come close to beating President Trump.
She’s capable of changing her mind. In the past, many D’s have said that they won’t run for POTUS, and, then, they change their minds. I, still, see a possibility where she “swoops in and saves the 2020 U.S. general election” for The Left, or tries to. If not her, then Oprah may try to do so. Just, two possible future political scenarios.
I wonder if Joe called her up and asked if she wanted to be his VP, and she said something like are you freaking crazy, I don’t want to run with some old weirdo child molesting honkey. I don’t know if this is true. I’m just asking.
