State AG: Police better obey my rules, or else. Cops: Time for you to resign.

The New Jersey Attorney General is throwing a temper tantrum over local law enforcement’s involvement in upholding the laws of our country.

He’s issued directives to police across the state that they better not cooperate with federal immigration officials… and if they do, he’s threatening action against their departments.

But now his words have gone viral and the Blue Family won’t stand for it.

Some are even calling for his resignation.

Anthony Gallo is a candidate running for the elected position of sheriff in Middlesex county. He says that the AG’s stance on immigration is going directly against federal law. In a Facebook post on Monday, the GOP candidate called out AG Gurbir Grewal and asked for him to step down.

The post accused Grewal of “harboring ‘criminal’ illegal aliens” within New Jersey communities, noting that of 21 counties in the state, 19 “have been releasing these ‘Criminals’ into our backyards with our Families.”

Gallo wrote that “NO politician or appointed official has the right to tell a sitting Sheriff who is elected by the People what to do. Only the people can do that at the ballot box.”

Insider NJ reported that Gallo also called for the removal of Middlesex County Sheriff Mildred S. Scott, “who listens to this Criminal Attorney General and not the People of Middlesex County.”

The criticism arose this week when AG Grewal went after two sheriff’s offices for “failing to inform the state’s attorney general that they are helping federal immigration authorities capture and deport undocumented migrants.”

Yes, classic case of obstruction of justice, at the very least.

Sheriffs in New Jersey are constitutionally established independent county level officials and do not answer to the Attorney General.

If Gallo wins, Middlesex would be the forth NJ county sheriff to tell the AG to go pound sand. Monmouth, Salem, and Cape May are cooperating with DHS/ICE.

Mr. Gallo is unlikely to win in Middlesex. There are man, many immigrants there. More from India than anywhere else, it seems.

The NJ AG cannot be recalled, it is an appointed position.

Local police are capable of handling bank robberies (federal crime). Why not immigration?

The criticism arose this week when AG Grewal went after two sheriff’s offices for “failing to inform the state’s attorney general that they are helping federal immigration authorities capture and deport undocumented migrants.”...yeah, saw this earlier in the local paper - astounding - apparently law enforcement in nearby Cape May County had the temerity to communicate and coordinate with ICE personnel without getting the approval of Jersey's turban-wearing AG, Grebel or whatever it is - hey, AG, just so you know, I'm a long-time tax-paying voting resident of the state and I do not feel safe or well represented with you in that post - resign, please.......

Nope.

Waco, Ruby Ridge. Did any cops disobey orders in Portland and stop the antifa brownshirts? Or in numerous other cities?

I can see by your post, that you aren't familiar with the NJ State Police. There's plenty of liberals in the military as well.

Federal Law Enforcement took part in incinerating children at the Branch Davidian compound, stood by while an FBI sniper killed a mother holding her baby at Ruby Ridge, and stood by while Antifa attacked Trump supporters.

When the time comes, Antifa will be given badges and guns, and the older cops will stand around, waiting to collect their pensions.

If it comes to a choice between losing, and having to give badges and guns to any gang member willing to fight the Right, then they will issue badges to MS13

I suspect that NJ could be in play for 2020. I know, people say that every election. But things are changing fast... people are going to be put to some important decisions next year.

The envious underclass; that is how it shaped up in Spain in 1936. The professional army sided with the right, primarily because they were targeted by leftist politicians.

I would agree that in the past, dire conditions wrought by Dems would give NJ Republican governors. Nowadays, so many working Americans have fled NJ that there are probably not enough to deliver it to Trump in 2020. This story itself is a perfect example as to why: The costs of the illegals here are directly placed on the taxpayers (including companies), so they flee from those costs.

It is a state dominated by public employee unions (especially teachers’ unions), and they will not see membership dwindle as schools close. Instead, immigration enforcement is practically forbidden, and the schools fill with “dreamers” and anchor babies - while the homeowners pay the highest property taxes in the country to foot the bills.

This Sikh AG was born here; we are now several generations into “The Great Replacement” here in NJ. In Jersey City I saw a line of Indian white-collar workers at an Indian food truck; every job the took is another foreclosed home for an American. Now nobody wants the homes...

In the coming civil war, the cops will overwhelmingly be on our (conservative) side, as will the military.

FBI investigating tattooed deputy gangs in Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department

The federal probe follows allegations of beatings and harassment by members of the Banditos, a group of deputies assigned to the Sheriff’s Department’s East L.A. station who brand themselves with matching tattoos of a skeleton outfitted with a sombrero, bandolier and pistol. The clique’s members are accused by other deputies of using gang-like tactics to recruit young Latino deputies into their fold and retaliating against those who rebuff them.
