Everything worldwide is choking out Christianity - all other religions are exempt because spiritually speaking, they are all on the same side and same team and lead to the same place.
Oh and Judaism will be next once the last vestiges of Christianity are gone.
This isn’t selling a sandwich it is celebrating sin. You should love the sinner but not the sin and they should be free to not celebrate it.
As for scriptures it says numerous places a marriage is between a man and a woman.
This one is a minority and protected class going after a minority. That should be interesting.
The wheelchair thing is happening in Florida. A casual friend of mine, a lawyer, never really wanted to chat with me about his work.
Then one day I saw a local tv station in south Florida doing a story about a small, like two or three table bakery or restaurant that was being sued because the bathrooms weren’t ADA compliant. The small business owner was facing tens of thousands of dollars in modifications or more because some handicapped woman (who just “happened” to find the place) couldn’t use them.
Well, turns out my friend Tim (not his real name) was the attorney filing a civil suit. He openly admitted on tv that he goes looking for places he can sue. He dressed it up in “rights” language, but then indicated he usually settles out of court. In other words, he takes money, gets the biz to promise to fix up the site eventually, then goes on the hunt for another entrepreneur — his handicapped “victim” in tow.
I was stunned. No wonder the guy kept his type of law practice so close to the vest. He knew I would strongly disapprove.
I no longer consider him a friend. Very sad and infuriating.

It’s not compliance and acceptance if the dress designer seeks another path to stand up for her beliefs than the one you would choose to achieve that same end.
