Comey FBI apologist, Fusion GPS co-conspirator and Lawfare Alliance media narrative engineer, Natasha Bertrand, has an outline published today on the background interview of dossier author Christopher Steele.
From within the article, beyond the sympathetic propaganda, some overarching details are interesting:
♦(1) As expected Mr. Steele would only talk to OIG investigators from Horowitzs office; Steele would not speak to speak to U.S. Attorney John Durham.
♦(2) The interview took place at the same time President Trump traveled to the U.K (June 3rd-5th) for a state visit. Likely coordinated so FBI officials could travel innocuously without media scrutiny (lots of security officials traveled on behalf of U.S. interests at the time); likely the preferred timing of Steele himself.
♦(3) The interview(s) took place over two days for a total of sixteen hours of conversation. The recent reports of IG delay and follow-up interviews are almost certainly related to the outcome of the investigative findings (ie. Kathleen Kavalec cooperation etc.).
♦(4) Current officials within the DOJ/FBI; with obvious interests related to the corrupt activity surrounding the FBI and DOJ use of Steele (ie. McCabe and Comey apologists); are leaking the content of the investigative interviews to their notorious Lawfare Alliance media cohorts, ie. Natasha Bertrand.

What does this say about Horowitz? I am not disparaging his character but when a perp demands to talk to one guy over another, it usually because he knows he is in no danger from the guy he is willing to talk to.
#worthless
Christopher Steele: “At this time I have no recollection of that.————— I do not recall.———— I do not remember.”
Thank you, Mr. Steele for cooperating with our investigation.
When is Bull Durham going to interview Steele?
Says good of Durham if Steele won’t cooperate with whatever the former is doing.
Of course, the Brits will handover Steele for the crimes he has allegedly committed. .... /sarc
Malicious creative writing should be prosecuted, IMHO.

No doubt. Still, it seems better to get some info from Steele rather than no one in DOJ getting anything.
I presume that Durham will be thorough. Just because he didn’t talk to Steele doesn’t mean he won’t indict him.
The IG report is coming, here it comes, anyway, around the corner, maybe tomorrow, or for that matter however it takes the IG to whitewash it all.
But its coming, eventually, maybe, sometime. You just wait.
Horowitz is a dope and a stooge
Horowitz is a dope and a stooge
Exactly. He knows who to fear and is projecting that loud and clear.
All my faith is in Durham. Horowitz basically is tasked with the job of a troubleshooter, determining how the Department can operate better, including staff. He is just pointing out “issues”. It is not his job per se to identify crimes and refer prosecutions. So while his job is worthwhile and useful, it is not intended to provide any hammer against governmental corruption.
I am hoping Durham and Barr are that hammer.
“He is just pointing out issues. It is not his job per se to identify crimes and refer prosecutions.”
I thought he could refer prosecutions. Could be I was mistaken. But I agree. Durham and Barr are the keys to getting justice.
