Do you ever notice how the minority ruins it for the majority? Case and point. I know that we are all happy for the Womens Soccer team on their big win. But seriously. Does anybody think that Megan Rappino represents the views of everybody on that team??? So, when she disrespects our National Anthem, our Flag, and our President, does anybody seriously thing that she represents the hearts and minds of anybody but herself on that team? I saw everyone else with their hands on their hearts, singing the national anthem, and picking up the US flag that was being dragged around by these few.

So on perhaps the biggest day of many of their lives, Megan Rappino summarily dismisses the possibility of an invitation by the President of the United States for the team to visit the White House, visit the President and Melania. This may be the only opportunity for many of the team members in their lifetimes to receive such an invitation. And IMO, has no right to do this.

It is my hope that this goes viral, and that the President, invites the whole team to the White House, let Megan have her 15 minutes in the spotlight to have her say, and let the rest of the team be honored for their fine achievement, and visit our fine president and his beautiful wife. Megan can do what gives her pleasure, and not spoil it for the rest of the Team.

As in most things, again, a small minority often ruins it for the silent majority. Isn't it about time for the silent Majority to speak up, and let its opinions be heard. You can be sure that the main stream media will not give them the airtime they will give the likes of Megan. I mean really, do you give a crap what she has to say?

I would much rather see the President take the high road, and invite the whole team, and graciously honor those who choose to be there...

OK, Off the soapbox

President Trump should invite them and congratulate them, and urge that they get paid fairly. (What exactly does that mean?) It would so irritate Rapinoe and a couple of others that she would further embarrass herself spewing hate at the president and the country.

It’s an opp for the media to showcase her as “yet another” reason this President is the worse ever blah, blah. Personally, I’d just like her to go away. I was praying for any other team to win so she’d go away faster. The coach should tell these half wits to keep their political views to themselves.

I’m pretty certain that Trump has already given them an invite.

In any case, nice post. Spot on.

No way would they agree to go to the WH, but they might take up Schumer on his invite. Lovely gals. *Gag*

I loathe that “woman” as much as anyone else, but I really wish Trump wouldn’t respond to stupid comments from “celebrities.” If he hadn’t, no one would still be talking about her and giving her a platform to continue bashing him.

If you’re going to submit a vanity article, shouldn’t you at least know the basic fact(s) of what you’re writing about?

President Trump extended an invitation long before the final game. SMH.

Methinks Megan Rapinoe has all the markings of a borderline personality disorder: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borderline_personality_disorder

I don’t know for sure that she represents a minority of the players on that team. If one of my teammates ran his mouth like her, I’d consider myself complicit with her if I didn’t publicly rebuke her.

I do...I don’t think there’s a one of these gals that would buck the message sent by their visible and quotable team leaders...

"Minority" ostracized the Christian defensive back who refused to wear the degenerate six colored sodomite flag. US Women's Club is sodomy/synthetic phallic devices or bust.

Women's soccer is like watching a bunch of spastic toddlers kicking a ball without any sense of control and organization. Add the dyke factor in and you have a extreme case pertaining to a comedy of errors.

I know that we are all happy for the Womens Soccer team on their big win.

It's women's soccer, so interest level was already hovering around zero. Then there was the spectacle of their ridiculous over-celebrating during the game with Thailand, which took my rooting interest down to zero. Then there was the blatant anti-Americanism and the pre-emptive declarations that they wouldn't accept a White House invitation, which restored my rooting interest - in any team they played against. I'm sorry to see that this gaggle of angry lesbians won - they don't represent me in any way.

If the team doesn't stand up to her, they are selling out to win.

Just as countries with dictators as their leader get the government they deserve, rather than the government they want, any group is accountable for the leadership it allows.

Are the other women UnAmerican? No, but they are cowardly when it comes to this, and millions of young girls who love the sport are being dragged into Megan's narcissistic delusions of grandeur.

The whole team is partly responsible. What they've accomplished is great (although it won't be long before other countries catch up.)

So they are to be partly praised and partly taken to the woodshed.

The left is ruining sports. Anyone who lets them, without standing up, is complicit even if not as evil.

I saw it a couple of years ago when the Eagles won the SuperBowl - they were invited to the White House, and early on about thirty team members had signed up to go - but a few malcontents with their anthem-kneeling and pseudo-reparations demands like Malcolm Jenkins and whatsisname Long, who’s since retired, were adamant in boycotting, and within a matter of days the entire team had reversed course and didn’t go - I think there was maximum pressure applied behind the scenes for the brothers to show they were solid and down for the cause and that sort of thing, and so the team missed out on the experience - I’m thinking the same will happen with the soccer gals.....
