I dont give a damn where you were 60 years ago on civil rights. I dont care if your great grand-pappy owned slaves or you grew up in rural Louisiana and used the N word as often as a contemporary rapper. I cant get vexed about 2000 children at the border not getting enough facial tissue and diapers when tens of thousands of American children are sleeping on the streets and in shelters of our cities.
What I want is a president who is going to work for America, whose reputation is grounded by the present, and whose concerns are sharply focused on the future, Americas future.
The sine qua non of great candidates is not where they stood on racism in 1963 but where they stand on America today!
As of April 2019, there were 22,000 children sleeping in NYCs municipal shelters. On any given night, half a million Americans are homeless. Some 40% of them are minors.
So, while you are raising your hands to give health care to illegal aliens and feeling virtuous in the process, what the hell are you doing about the problems impoverished Americans face?
Biden took it on the chin for not supporting government-enforced busing to deal with de facto segregation. What parents, white or black, want their children to sit on a bus and be transported to an inferior school. Court-ordered busing was one of the strongest reasons for white flight out of Americas cities.
Youre the senator from California, Kamala, not from Central America. In your own back yard, in Berkeley, Oakland, and San Francisco, homelessness is a crisis and third-world tent cities are reproducing themselves along Californias freeways.
In San Francisco, people spend 41% of their income on rent...

If you’re looking to democrats for answers... You’ve already lost.

AMEN!!!
Contrast that with:
Which countries spend the most on food? This map will show you
Nigeria spends over half of household income on food, and there are nine other countries that spend over 40% on food.
Four of them are in Africa: Nigeria 56.4%; Kenya 46.7%; Cameroon 45.6%; and Algeria 42.5%. Four are in Asia: Kazakhstan 43.0%; Philippines 41.9%; Pakistan 40.9%; and Azerbaijan 40.1%. Guatemala is the only South American country to appear in the list and spends 40.6% of its household income on food.
“...or you grew up in rural Louisiana and used the N word as often as a contemporary rapper. I cant get vexed about 2000 children at the border not getting...”
Not just rural Louisiana...northern states were no slouches in that regard!
The American Farmer provides our population with the lowest priced food in world history. 6.4% of income according to the chart.
And yet, with mouths filled with food, there are many Freepers who disparage the farm
U.S spends roughly 6.4%- it’s stunning that some countries spend over 50% on food-
Roxbury(Blacks) and Dorchester(Irish) MA teens were still killing each other in the mid 80s.
My dad was a PG rated (for language) version of Archie Bunker.
I heard it said hundreds of times growing up in MA.
“An Angry, Old White Guy Watches the Democratic Debate”
Why? Is he a glutton for punishment?
>>>An Angry, Old White Guy Watches the Democratic Debate<<
Was there a big Mirror behind the Moderators that Shotgun Joe Biden the Groping Pedo was staring at?
“Not just rural Louisiana...northern states were no slouches in that regard!”
Try Boston or South Philly in the 1970s.
Good talking points, and good things to keep in mind in case of argument with a liberal flamer, however since this is coming from a conservative blog it doesn’t really mean anything or denote that people’s minds are changing.
BS, I didn’t watch or listen to either of them.
My wife and I raise Angus beef cattle on our farm in Florida.
Why would FReepers talk trash about farms?
Where in the hale do they think their food comes from?
Most of the Irish had left Dorchester in the 80s.It had changed, and not for the better.
If there are twenty two thousand children sleeping in shelters
and a half a million homeless who’s fault is it?.
During the depression we knew what the problem was we also know
that the stupid crap heads in government made it impossible for
an industry to survive in the u.s.a so the American started
living on welfare and most like it so well they are not about
to go back to work regardless of how much work there is at this
time.
The children in the shelters are most likely the off spring of
these half million who are living the life style that has come to
fit them.
I don’t have the answers because you can not make some one work or
raise up their kids right.
I do agree that it takes too much of ones pay check to rent a place
to live, again whose fault is it? again regulations have made it
imposible to build a home that cost less than two or three hundred
thousand dollars, we have to buy our lumber from other countries
and pay double while our forests burn.
Again this is something that started many years ago, president
Trump is trying to put a stop to all of the nonsense but even eight
years is not enough time because it has gottn completely out of
hand.
I don’t think the illegals even need to be talked about every one
knows what a disaster they have been.
Let’s not change horses in the middle of the stream.
..and pooping in the city streets.
