Former President Jimmy Carter said Friday he believes Donald Trump would have lost the 2016 election without Russian help.
“There’s no doubt that the Russians did interfere in the election and I think the interference, although not yet quantified, if fully investigated, would show that Trump didn’t actually win the election in 2016,” said Carter. “He lost the election and he was put in office because the Russians interfered on his behalf.”
Carter was speaking in Leesburg, Va. at a panel discussion on human rights hosted by the Carter Center.
Carter was then asked by moderator Jon Meacham, a historian, if Trump was an illegitimate president.
“Based on what I said, which I can’t retract,” responded Carter, smiling.

My vote for this fake Christian is the one vote in my life that I truly regret. I voted for McGovern in 1972 but at least he never got elected. Carter singlehandedly cured me of my youthful socialist tendencies. I enthusiastically voted for Reagan in 1980. Haven’t voted for a single democrat since.

Let’s say the Russians tried to influence our election. Let’s give them that. What did they do? They supposedly got the dirt (that is, THE TRUTH) out about Hillary. The Media, the FBI, and others who’s responsibility it was to get the truth out, did everything in their power to cover it up. So, these deranged fools are smoking mad that someone actually told the truth about Hillary.
When you don’t have a job you don’t have any money. Inflation and interest rates aren’t that important.
