Recent UFO Encounters With Navy Pilots Occurred Constantly Across Multiple Squadrons

One of the biggest questions surrounding the most recent known spate of UFO encounters with U.S. Navy pilots—those that occurred off the southeastern seaboard of the United States between 2014 and early 2015—pertains to how persistent they actually were. We know Super Hornet aircrews from Strike Fighter Squadron 11 (VFA-11), the Red Rippers, detected unknown objects multiple times on radar and one aircrew even had a close encounter visually with one of them, but what about the rest of the many Hornet squadrons based at Naval Air Station Oceana, not to mention the E-2 Hawkeye squadrons from nearby NAS Norfolk? We have the answer to this question and it is remarkable.

A source with knowledge of the events has made it clear to The War Zone that presence of the mysterious objects in the restricted training airspace off America's east coast was so pervasive that it was largely common knowledge among local flying units. They noted that the majority of the Super Hornet squadrons equipped with AN/APG-79 Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radars—you can read all about this technology and how it was key in detecting these objects in our exclusive piece on the subject—at the time were having the same experiences, as well as the crews flying the new E-2D Hawkeye with its incredibly powerful AN/APY-9 radar suite. It literally became such a common and near everyday occurrence that Naval Aviators and Naval Flight Officers from the base would talk about it informally with regularity.

But that doesn't mean formal action wasn't taken. Beyond filing an official safety report after one of the jets almost hit one of the unidentified objects—described eerily as a translucent sphere with a cube structure suspended inside of it—Notices To Airman (NOTAMs) were posted regarding the dangers potentially posed by unknown aerial vehicles flying in the same military operating areas that aircraft from NAS Oceana frequented for training. This action was taken by the base's command leadership as they couldn't figure out how else to address the bizarre issue and its perceived threat to their aircrews' safety.

We have since filed Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) requests for copies of these NOTAMs, as well as documents regarding how the decision to file the NOTAMs was made at the command level.

Okay, CLUE, it’s happening in restricted training space.

Okay fact, this just means more plaines using the same tech are experiencing the same gilch.

Uncommon but not evidence of 'little green men"

Actually, if the main thing tying all these sightings together is 'restricted training space', my best guess is that LM or Raytheon or NG have some new tech they're testing, and need to put it up against a blind test.

The AF has plenty of their own UFO reports, but probably not the same as these. AF doesn’t necessarily use the same training areas as Naval aviation, especially over the ocean. If they h’stap out of each other’s other areas, there’s less chance for miscommunication or worse incidents

My best friend/colleague of 20 years was a daily Janet flight passenger prior to the time I knew him. He had worked out this rationalization in his head where he wouldn’t tell me any of the secrets from Area 51 and other Nellis areas he personally visited, but he occasionally dropped hints about what his brother in law had seen. The BiL had several more exotic compartmentalized clearances than my friend, who merely worked “out-in-the-open” at Groom on early f-117s. Anyway, from my friend’s hints and teases, I was able to determine that many of the rumors you hear about Area 51 and environs are, in fact, true, and if anything a little toned down from the actual situation. Lazar understated what goes on there: above ground, below, and in time-shifted relativistic space. I will say that the Navy “UFO” sightings fit right in line with this, including the “submarine”.

Yeah, but the real fun was when I flew the A-10, last of the manly jets.
Flew it when stationed at RAF Bentwaters and RAF Alconbury UK.
I must admit, I’ve had a great life.

Good information, thank you,

Yeah, assuming these reports are legitimate and not some psyops and just wondering out loud:

I am curious about the new 2014 radar system mentioned in one of these recent stories, what if anything is different about it? That they would begin seeing returns they hadn’t before? I’ll try to look that up if any information is available online?

Also would be curious that as these events were happening routinely, did they always follow specific flight patterns/times. Did the objects seem to cluster or cross certain plot points repeatedly or was it always random encounters,

The 2004 Nimitz report had several troubling (to me anyway) pieces of information no one seems to talk about,

1- Did they even bother to test the water/look under the water where the 747 sized disturbance was, I would be curious to know (about any kind of natural/unusual huge rock/boulder formation especially if its circular) what if anything is unusual or different at that spot? Also the object was reported to have zoomed away at hypersonic speeds with no disturbance or sound, which leaves only two possibilities in my mind for how to violate physical laws, A- they are not physical objects at all, or B- they operate in a separate time domain from us in which case they don’t have to be moving very fast, they just appear that way to us.

2- And then when they finally tracked it again, it appeared at their CAP point? That’s sending a very purposeful message and its not a good message either,

What message is that? (all merely conjecture here) They have no problem evading detection when they want, but in these events these UAPs wanted to be seen and went out of their way to make sure we saw what they were doing in the water and I believe they specifically wanted that activity noticed not by just anybody, but by one of if not the most powerful and official military vessel and tracking crafts our United States of America has to send,

Pretty cool.

I still wanna be in an F-15E at full afterburner. :)
