Michael Moore is warning Democrats about the "enormity of the fight" ahead of the 2020 election, saying the president "hasn't lost one inch of his fired-up insane base."
The filmmaker and liberal activist weighed in after watching Trump speak at his reelection campaign launch rally in Orlando on Tuesday night before a sold-out crowd of 20,000.
I watched the whole thing last night, Moore wrote to his more than 6 million followers on Twitter. I know no one wants to waste that kind of time even looking at him [Trump], but not wanting to see the enormity of the fight ahead doesnt make it go away. He hasnt lost one inch of his fired-up insane base. Are u ready?
Moore once predicted before the 2016 election that Trump would overcome long odds to defeat Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, who was widely favored in polls.
"Donald J. Trump is going to win in November. This wretched, ignorant, dangerous part-time clown and full time sociopath is going to be our next president," the filmmaker wrote on his website at the time.
"President Trump. Go ahead and say the words, cause youll be saying them for the next four years: 'PRESIDENT TRUMP.'"
No presidential incumbent has lost reelection since George H.W. Bush in 1992, when Democrat Bill Clinton won comfortably in the electoral college, 370-168, despite only winning 43 percent of the popular vote. Bush finished with 38 percent of the vote, while independent Ross Perot took 19 percent of the vote.
Trump currently stands at 44.3 percent in the RealClearPolitics index of polls.
“Guilty as charged.”
Right on, me too. Put my money where my mouth is and gave PDJT $250 yesterday. MAGA!!!
Hey Michael, bet your waist hasn’t lost one inch either.
Michael who?
It wasn't about "a dimes worth of difference", it was about consequences and direction the country went with 8 years of Clinton, as opposed to 4 more years of Bush and perhaps someone more conservative in '96. The Clintons normalized so many leftists and planted so many deep state weeds, the consequences were grim. And then there was the appointment of Ginsberg and Breyer. Bush might have done better but he couldn't have done worse.
Michael Moore has plenty good political instincts, the Democrats would be smart to sign him up as a political advisor but they’re probably too arrogant for Michael Moore, who’s a grassroots activist.
Jabba the Hut at least got one thing right.
“That is not nice! Why would you want to food poison those nice Cannibals?”
And look at what it would do to their cholesterol, A1C, and triglycerides, a truly horrible western, white male atrocity against innocent, indigenous people.
AND there are several who did not see Candidate Trump as being conservative enough who will likely now vote for him as he now has established conservative credentials.

“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day.
Give a man a fishy film producer and feed him for a lifetime.”
Build a man a fire and he will be warm for a day....
Set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.
Blennos reporting as part of the fired-up insane base.
Mikey Moore would make for a “Cheery” grease fire.
I may not care for his phrasing, but his eyes are open and he’s admitting the truth or what he’s seeing.
Correct me if I’m wrong (like a good Freeper wouldn’t?), but didn’t he call the election for Trump while others were still saying he had a 2% chance?
The ever-reliable Projection by liberals.
Now we are Insane Deplorables
Multi-millionaire Tubby Riefenstahl will probably vote for Trump since his stock portfolio and real estate assets are no doubt doing very well.
Don’t get me wrong Moore is a left wing loon when it comes to his political (publicly at least) stance.. but he’s not completely detached from reality like the Coastal Libs and Globalists are.
He was one of the few voices on the left, warning that Trump was going to win, and exactly why he was going to win.... but the powers that be on the left wouldn’t listen to him.
Folks like myself, in these same rust belt states on the right, saw the same thing Moore was seeing... because we were living in the minefields that the economic policies of both parties for the last 40 years had wrought... and for the last 2 administrations in particular had been devastated by and had no one care or do a damned thing.
But the coastal elites of both parties just couldn’t see it... and refused to believe it because they weren’t living the hell their policies had created. Their towns weren’t overrun by illegals or drugs, or laying in economic ruin because of globalist policies... they were still lining their pockets happily.... Their children weren’t growing up in towns where the only work available was HD or Wal Mart, with shuttered factories and their kids weren’t getting addicted to prescription opioids....
Trump “got it”...he was speaking RIGHT to this part of the country from the day he announced.... it was clear what his strategy was, and pretty damned obvious it was going to work..... to everyone that wasn’t stuck in “it can’t happen” thinking.
“Guilty as charged.”
DITTO!!!!!
You beat me to it! Who IS this Moore guy? Should I be interested?
