AMERICA PRAYER VIGIL - June 16, 2019

Please join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for President Trump, Vice-President Pence, and for America: Government, Family, Military, Business, Education, Churches, and the Media.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (I John 5:14)

Like as a father pities his children, so the Lord pities them that fear Him.
For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.
- Psalm 103: 13-14

And you fathers, provoke not your children to wrath;
but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
-Ephesians 6:4

Lord, we are grateful that You are our Almighty Father, our Creator and King. On this day when we honor our fathers, we ask You to help us to honor You first with our lives. You are altogether Holy, Righteous, Just, and Good. Though our earthly fathers may fail us, You never leave us nor forsake us. You love Your children so completely, so perfectly, and so much more than we can imagine or think. Thank You, Abba Father, for being more than enough for us all.

Lord, we ask You to forgive us as a nation for allowing the ungodly to define fatherhood. Forgive women who have emasculated the men in their lives instead of celebrating the wisdom You showed in making us male and female. Forgive fathers who have abandoned their children and who have failed to be responsive to their needs. Instill in each man the desire to provide for and protect his children and to be the spiritual leader of his household. We pray that men would rise up and be the God-honoring compass for their families---showing them the ways of righteousness. May they provoke not their children to wrath, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. And may they love their wives as Christ has loved the Church and has given Himself for it.

Thank You for Your hand upon President Trump’s life, Lord. Help him to be a strong and loving father to all of his children and grandchildren. May he continue to grow in grace and in knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, and may he safely trust in You for every decision he must make. Father, as his enemies continue to rise up against him, we pray that You would never cease to be his shield, his strength, and his strong tower. We say in Jesus’ Name that no weapon formed against him shall prosper!

Father, we commit our military men and women to You in these times that grow more troubled by the day. Comfort the families of those who are separated from their loved ones. Strengthen all who are headed to foreign soil. Lord, our hearts go out to these brave young people. We know that You will care for them and that Your shield and banner will go before them.

Lord, we need strong fathers in order to have Godly families, and we need Godly families in order to turn our country back to You. May the men of this nation rise up and follow You as they seek to lead their children. And may Your Name be glorified in our lives both now and evermore. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Lord, give us the strength to keep the faith and not let our hearts become hardened in these trying times. When we ridicule and make jokes about current events and people it’s in the frustration of the world becoming more decadent and evil. Change the hearts of people that have lost their way and the ones that never knew the way. Guide our representatives and authorities to do what’s good. Protect the righteous and weak. Provide true justice and liberty to the downtrodden. Comfort the ill and people separated from their families. Only through adversity can one come to You. Thank You Lord for being there always. Without You there would be no hope and only darkness. In His name. Amen

LORD, please hear the prayers offered by Faith and others here.
Our nation is in need of You.
We are blessed that You heard our prayers and presented us a
warrior to fight for us.
We pray he will do Your will in eliminating the moles which make the foundation of this nation highly unstable.
Please give him the necessities to erase Socialism,
Satan’s curse, from this world.

As always, we pray for our brethren, ill and injured, that they be healed in spirit, mental, and physical health.

Psalm 112

Heavenly Father God, we thank You, Lord, for all of our blessings and all of the mercy that You have poured upon this land. We thank You for Your Son and in His name we do pray.

Oh Father God, we petition Thee to send strong angels to restrain the enemy who works to undermine our culture, our families, our government and this nation’s devotion to You. Lead us as a nation to repent of removing You from our institutions and entertaining our own destruction. Oh Lord, remove from authority all enemy agents. Move this nation to become great again, victorious in You.

* In praise for our Father, the ultimate role model

* In lifting up men, especially fathers, so diminished in our godless society

* For fathers to return to love children and their mothers

* For President Trump

— his role as father and grandfather
— protection from the attacks of the evil one

* For all those who go in harm’s way to serve others home and abroad

* For men to be controlled by our Lord as the ultimate role mode and have the mind of Christ
