Well, well, well, what a pretty picture we have with Democrats these days, with radical Democrats now looking at primary fights with utterly crazy socialist ones.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez may be planning to primary her fellow New York Democrats for a Senate seat, getting ready to target Sen. Chuck Schumer or Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand.
That's what Mike Allen at Axios is reporting, citing what's apparently an upcoming Axios on HBO segment, citing "top Democrats," who "buzz." He writes:
Top Democrats tell "Axios on HBO" they expect Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez may eventually primary one of the two New York senators — Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer in 2022, or Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand in 2024.
Why it matters: AOC has instantly become one of the party's most coveted endorsers (up there with Clintons and Obamas) — and has recently made common cause with Sen. Elizabeth Warren, a pairing that could take off.
A note of caution, though is in order first: Allen's piece quotes only a spokesweasel, and that person seems to be playing down the idea. Maybe the whole thing is a weather balloon or a bite-back bid from Ocasio-Cortez against Democrats who've whispered 'primary' at her for her seat. But who knows what the HBO segment will yield? Allen's a smart swamp thing, and presumably knows what he's talking about.

I’ll bet she will be the one that gets primaried out. Karma would be served if her district would vote in a Republican after the mess that she has created.
I would still vote for her because she actually thinks that she is smart and the entertainment value is great, seeing how she is causing such destruction in her own party.

Whatever she wants, it’s probably hers. They can always audition a new actress to fill her House seat. She won with less than 16,000 votes, seems like most anyone can get that many votes or more.
Chuckie Cheez of all people knows how to make the jump from House to Senate. He also knows how to hold on to power.
If AOC starts nipping at his heels, all kinds of unpleasant things could happen. But she’s the MSM’s little goddess and thinks she’s invulnerable, so popcorn time might be near for us Deplorables.

One of our best hopes is that the left will splinter. The Bull Moose,Greenback,Reform,Progressives and Whigs did that.
We need arrogant feminists to sit at home and refuse to vote for Biden (a small percentage dream, I know). Blacks to say no more voting unless someone “looks like me.” White males to secretly and quietly say “I hate #MeToo, I am not guilty, I have value and America and we white males are not so bad.” And socialists to say “I wanted Bernie or this time I won’t have sand kicked in my face by the elite Dems.”

Could you imagine the identity politics playing out in that race. Jewish voters would be freaking out . She would bring the worst out in everyone in New York State beautiful,Just beautiful. Wouldn’t surprise me because I predict she will be running for president in 2024. She will be old enough then.
She’s got name recognition, Almost every day there is a story about her. Both side won’t leave her alone. And she has a huge following.

To do so, she wouldn’t have to win elections in the near future, all she would have to do is remain firmly in the public eye, continuously publicizing herself as the voice of the Democratic party, the champion of climate change, the poster-girl for advancing women’s issues, etc.
And what better way to do this than for her to run against an old white uncharismatic Establishment male like Chuck Schumer in an important highly publicized election?
In business, entrepreneurs understand it will take years for them to build up their small start-ups, so why shouldn’t this be true of politicians, too? AOC seems to be the only Democratic politician willing to take this approach.
Maybe you are behind the times, she is on a powerful committee and is determining the policy platform for the Democrat caucus. Furthest thing from a back bencher and in record time.
