The Virginia Beach shooter who killed 12 people and wounded several others in a municipal complex on Friday had submitted his resignation earlier that morning, officials said Sunday.

The gunman, identified as 40-year-old DeWayne Craddock, was an engineer with the city's public utilities department for 15 years. In a news conference Sunday morning, Virginia Beach City Manager Dave Hansen described the man’s work performance as “satisfactory” with no ongoing issues of discipline.

There were reports of "violent encounters" between Craddock an co-workers in recent weeks. That may have been the impetus for a "resign in lieu of termination" demand. There is also no discussion of whether he was treated for depression including use of SSRI type drugs. Those are frequently an element in a mass shooting event. Violent interactions are commonly observed symptoms in SSRI users.

And we are supposed to be ashamed for fearing blacks, muslims, or disgruntled employees?

Regarding:

He did not just go off and decide to kill coworkers for no reason. Someone in that group of people had been saying things to him, or about him, or, had been doing something to him that enraged him. To go and shoot them was NOT the solution at all, but some deficiency in his character caused him to lose control and kill.

Now, to the main argument of this statement. Every time this happens, the authorities and some in the media KNOW why it actually happened, but they do NOT report it. I would like to know why? Please answer the question, officials.

Response:

Look up: Wound Collectors

Like Cristopher Dorner (remember him? The cop that went on a shooting spree?)

https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/spycatcher/201304/wound-collectors

Excerpt:

“wound collector” ... refers to individuals, ... who, because of personality traits: collect social slights, historical grievances, or wrongs for reasons that personally benefit them or their belief system. The collection of these grievances goes beyond what one normally experiences in life; after all, we have all had slights and we have all been unfairly treated at some point. These individuals use these wrongs, slights, or wounds, to then justify their beliefs or behaviors, or to help them deal with their own psychological or social distress.

What is the definition of a wound collector or wound collecting?

Wound collecting is the conscious and systematic collection and preservation of transgressions, violations, social wrongs, grievances, injustice, unfair treatment, or slights of self and others, for the purpose of nourishing, fortifying, or justifying a malignant ideology, furthering hatred, satisfying a pathology, or for exacting revenge.

Where did you find that information?

#83. Re “Never a silencer”. Well, is a hitman uses it to kill someone, the victim was “silenced”.

Isn’t English fun?

I’m getting all of my details at Free Republic.

I have seen zero info on the shooter from MSM sources, except for the guy’s name, and job, apparently an engineer. No photos at all on the MSM.

I’ve seen a couple screen shots that he is a Muslim, but I’m not familiar with the websites, so everything I “know” is basically unconfirmed.

Silencer is also easier to spell than suppressor?

I just did the same, they had correct info, but very little of it.

Not impressed one way or the other.

The language used to carefully describe this individuals employment status is pure Human Resources code-speak for “we can’t say anything bad about this person until the existing personnel review documentation is revealed as part of the investigation of the crime.” The city and HR people are covering their asses until the dust settles and police investigation is complete. They don’t want to be subject to lawsuits by the criminal’s family or other groups that may claim to represent the perpetrator’s interests, or lawsuits from lawyers representing the crime victims who are looking to find liability on the part of the city.

Wrong. No one called them suppressors until the 80’s. The American Silencer Association only changed their name to refer to ‘Suppressor’ in 2014. The NFA from 1934 defined them legally as Silencers. It is fine to say they don’t fully ‘silence’ but to claim they were always called suppressors is totally wrong.

No correlation at all there between antidepressants and violent Acts. It could be the other way around the guy was depressed and angry and would have acted out with or without medication you just can’t make a causal relationship between medications and the behavior sorry but it’s not that simple

No problem. No guns for public employees on duty.

Wait...that still leaves his victims unarmed....
