Saudi Araba said drones attacked one of its oil pipelines as other assaults targeted energy infrastructure elsewhere in the kingdom on Tuesday, shortly after Yemens rebels claimed a coordinated drone attack on the Sunni power.
The assaults marked the latest incidents challenging Mideast security after the alleged sabotage of oil tankers off the coast of the United Arab Emirates earlier this week amid heightened tensions between the U.S. and Iran.
Yemens Houthi rebels, whom Saudi Arabia has been fighting against since March 2015, said they launched a series of drone attacks on the kingdom, across the border from Yemen. [ ]
In a statement carried on the state-run Saudi Press Agency, Energy Minister Khalid al-Falih said that drones attacked a petroleum pumping station supplying a pipeline running from its oil-rich Eastern Province to the Yanbu Port on the Red Sea. [ ]
The kingdoms state security body also said two petroleum pumping stations in the greater region of Riyadh, the landlocked capital, were targeted at the same time.

Someone needs to build a wall around the entire middle east and fill it with water.
Does that mean Israel too?
Looks like the love-fest between Saudi and Iran is heating up again...
It’s a long way from Yemen to Yanbu for iranian Yemeni srrogates to attack.
Iran did it
The Iranians are supplying the drones to the technologically unsophisticated Yemeni rebels. The Iranians are feeling the effect of the sanctions. They will do all they can to disrupt the oil flow of their Sunni Arab enemies. Soon they will be desperate enough to risk overt military aggression. Don’t underestimate their capabilities. They have fortified the Persian Gulf with state of the art Chinese made stealthy shore to ship missiles. They can sink tankers and warships with these missiles. If they do, their nuclear facilities will be destroyed in less than an hour. They have been well mapped by Mossad and their destruction has been already planned.
If its run by followers of Muhammad, leave it and don't come back.
REALLY?!?!?!
He NEVER came close to saying that.
I UNDERSTOOD he didn’t mean Israel.
And you DO KNOW this is the U.S., right?!?!?!
So WTF is best for the U.S. is WTF MATTERS ABOVE EVERY OTHER COUNTRY ON EARTH!!
And I don’t want American soldiers sent to some bullsh.t middle eastern slum again to die!!
And YEP, NOT EVEN FOR ISRAEL.
They can take care of themselves, even without your concerns.
We’re off the gold standard and the only way to force our dollar on the world is by ensnaring ourselves in Saudi wars.
We’re WHORES.
Israel’s our ally. Maybe you are mistaken as to the stance of FR? “The entire Middle East” contains Israel.
-—The Iranians are feeling the effect of the sanctions.-—
More to the point, the recent lifting of sanction waivers and the agreement of Saudi Arabia and the UAE to pick up the slack to Japan and others now abiding by the sanctions is a terrific economic blow.
Iran is now kinetically at war with Saudi Arabia and the UAE. They will not be dissuaded by the fake surrogate veil
We are in FOUR different wars at the same time.
FOUR.
If you have the exact GPS coordinates of a stationary ,undefended target such as an oil pipeline in the desert or a refinery, loading explosives in an unsophisticated drone with even rudimentary GPS guidance is not technologically difficult or beyond the capability of Iranian engineers. The Iranians are known to have constructed and of course purchased such drones.
Most Islamics present as drones.
When I worked for ARAMCO in 2013-15 attacks on the pipelines were common and hushed up.
The entire Eastern province is majority Shia. It’s huge security problem for the Sauds.
Yeah, I see conspiracies behind every bush, tree, and shrub. However, you are NOT paranoid if they REALLY are out to get you...
What became of all that saudi military hardware?
