The future for female athletes in competitions is grim if males are allowed to compete with them under the theory that one can choose to be female, take some hormones and/or other treatment, and become a woman. Men are born with many advantages that make it impossible for women to compete successfully in many, probably most, sports.
One sports federation is fighting back and just stripped championship awards from a "transgender woman" who dominated a competition held in April. Pink News (a "Daily LGBT+ Newsletter") is not pleased:
Transgender powerlifter Mary Gregory, who claims to have broken four women's world records in competition last month, has been stripped of her [sic] trophies and described as "actually a male."
Gregory says [he] broke the squat, bench press, deadlift and total records for [his] weight class and gender at the 100% Raw Powerlifting Federation competition.
Following the event, Gregory posted on Instagram on April 27, thanking the federation for making [him] feel welcome as a transgender athlete and treating [him] as "just another female lifter."
However, in a statement released on May 1, 100% Raw Powerlifting Federation president Paul Bossi said the group has stripped Gregory of [his] wins because he believes [Gregory] is male.
"It was revealed that this female lifter was actually a male in the process of becoming a Transgender female," Bossi said in the statement.
"Our rules, and the basis of separating genders for competition, are based on physiological classification rather than identification.
"On the basis of all information presented to the Board of Directors for this particular case, the conclusion made, is that the correct physiological classification is male."

They will be sued, protested and beaten into submission...................
Maybe before long these orgs. will find the common sense to enforce the rules in advance, and bar anyone from competing in the first place who is not biologically female.

They've done pretty well so far. Ask Martina Navratilova if you can get the gag out of her mouth.
I remember back when the Soviet Union was accused of having men impersonate women to win weight lifting contests in the Olympics. Everyone considered that to be underhanded cheating. The Soviets proclaimed their innocence — they would never cheat like that!!!
And here we are. Now the American left wants us to say it’s “normal”.
I think I read something in high school biology about the X and Y chromosome. Maybe that would solve the identity problem. Just say’n.
He never had victory. But he can identify and pretend to be a victor all he wishes. Even reality cant take that away from him.
American Left = Soviet Union = Communism = Couldn’t possible lie or cheat. //sarc off//
Does a biological male claiming transgender status to a female have to register for Selective Service or not?

If the Federation is sued, it will add new meaning to the old phrase about taking someone into court, pulling down their pants, and making them cry.
DNA test
XX in
XY out
women have only themselves to blame for this crap- They could all walk out and not compete in protest of this asinine nonsense- but since they won’t- trannies have embedded themselves into the female sports and now- and all women do is complain
A DNA test will prove the female impersonator is STILL a MALE- whether he takes hormones to emasculate himself or not
I can’t believe this idiotic crap has gotten this far!
When will heavyweight boxers be able to compete in the welterweight class? I mean, if they identify as small.
Her squat and press were impressive but boy could she jerk it.
Her greatest challenge was deciding between moving up the competitive class by learning to throw elbows and the like or staying where she was by being polite. She chose the later.
I actually think this will stand. Basis is on physiology, rather than identification, and you can do both objectively.
What I love about this, especially with sports, is there is a million miles of precedent rules, cases, and procedures that establishes this going back to the 70’s.
We submit athletes to tests for banned substances, for example. If they exist, and can be verified in the back up sample, the athlete is in violation.
An athlete can identify if they please, but if they test XY, they are out of events where the participants are XX.

Assuming you live in a state were your birth-certificate can be retroactively changed to move your sex from one column to another, and you do that, then the "new" you would have to follow the rules for your new gender.
If you live in a state that doesn't allow that, or don't follow that process then you will probably be considered your "old" gender and have to follow those rules.
Regardless, the Selective Service seems completely bogus at this point. The USA could obviously not start drafting just men without a huge backlash. And, adding women to it would also create a backlash, though a smaller one. So they leave it the way it is, but it's not helping readiness because it is a guaranteed food-fight in they ever try to use it.
Better to just do away with it. If we need a new draft they are going to have to pass new laws anyways, so we could eliminate an entire area of federal record-keeping and bureaucracy.
Hey, it's a small start.
