FRANCE: Marine Le Pens populist National Rally Party is beating President Emmanuel Macrons party in latest polls leading up to EU elections
An Ipsos poll released Sunday places Ms Le Pens anti-Muslim migration populist-right party on 22%, ahead of Mr Macrons progressive La République En Marche! (LREM/Republic on the Move) which is at 21.5%. In third place is the right-leaning establishment Republicans at a distant 13.5%.
Breitbart Two other recent polls also put Ms Le Pens party in the lead: an Ifop-Fiducial survey published Friday puts National Rally on 23 per cent, LREM on 21.5 per cent; and an OpinionWay poll published Thursday puts the populists on 24 per cent followed by Macrons party on 21 per cent.

While in Italy, populist deputy prime minister Matteo Salvini has found his right-wing League party topping the Index Research poll, published last week, at 32.8 per cent. The Leagues anti-establishment governing coalition partner the Five Star Movement (M5S) is at 22 per cent, and the left-wing Democratic Party is in third with 20.5 per cent.
Matteo Salvini and Marine Le Len Ms Le Pen has been making the rounds in Europe, promoting the populist supergroup of parties hailing from Germany, Austria, Sweden, and others including Mr Salvinis League party. Salvinis policies that brought down mass illegal migrant sea landings by 80 per cent in just one year.
Ms Le Pen described these fronts during a campaign rally in Prague in late April, where she said, Federalists, EU supporters, want the dilution of the Nations for the benefit of an oligarchy of civil servants and experts. On the other side, there are the Patriots of all countries us!
Nationalists are joining together just in time to tear the European Union apart.
They are seeing Trump’s successes in real-time now and want it there too.
You can go country-by-country for this EU election coming up and probably near a minimum of one-out-of-five votes will be for far-right associated parties.
If you look over the priorities that the EU has discussed for the next five years, more than half simply will not occur because of the imbalance of representatives in the EU.
I’m sure the French Deep State will have a contingency plan ready. If Le Pen gets too far ahead, she’ll be arrested for a financial crime, or perhaps for violating some sort of “hate speech” law.
Heck, they won’t even leave Brigitte Bardot alone.
It’s hard to tell what the yellow vest protesters actually want. It’s easy to tell that they don’t want the status quo. Hundreds of thousands of people protesting for multiple months: that’s a bad sign for Macron.
Protesting is the French National Pastime.
Thanks robowombat.

Protesting is sort of a French tailgate party, before a game of mass beheadings.
Maybe France never should have colonized Muslim countries.
when the French get to storming the Bastille, then you know they are serious.
