The Brexit Party will earn more votes than Labour and the Conservatives combined in the European Parliament elections, and could even beat the Tories in a General election, two extraordinary polls revealed this morning.

In an Opinium poll in the Observer, focused on this month's European elections, Nigel Farage's new party is predicted to hoover up 34 per cent of the vote. The same poll gave Labour 21 per cent and put the Tories in a miserable fourth place with 11 per cent

But an even more extraordinary poll, commissioned by a Brexit Party donor and published in the Sunday Telegraph, said for the first time the Brexit Party would beat the Tories in a General Election.

The ComRes survey of voting intentions put Brexit on 21 per cent to the Conservatives' 20, which would see Farage's team win 49 seats, becoming the UK's second biggest party after Labour, with 137.

Full title: Theresa May on track for the worst General Election result in Tory Party history - as Brexit Party is predicted to win more votes than Labour and Conservatives COMBINED in European elections, polls say

-------

Perhaps Joe Biden could ring up Maggie Thatcher to give Theresa May a few tips....

(j/k - I seem to remember May slamming our President so I don't care much for her - but haven't followed this too closely, admittedly)

It may be because she is the biggest idiot yet to have the job. She had to really try to succeed at that.

The polls are questionable because of the layers of voters. In highly urbanized areas....the vote will still go to the Tories and Labour to some degree. In rural regions....it’s probably going to be 5 votes for each BREXIT Party to each Tory vote. It’s really telling a story over the division of society in the UK.

All I know is Biden talked to Thatcher recently.

According to Biden, that is.

I was hopeful for May, at first, until she proved herself to be a rabid NeverTrumper, publicly, multiple times.

When she loses, no doubt, it will be because of RUSSIAN COLLUSION or something like that.

The significance of this poll, if the numbers bear out in the two elections, cannot be overstated:

The Tory party is disintegrating and the Brexit party is on track to replace it.

Is Rino Republicanism the next out of touch elitist party to be replaced?

I don’t think she’d take his call!

This could be why a second Brexit vote doesn’t seem to have legs. I’m guessing it would win by a bigger margin which is why England’s ruling class is trying to shove through a Brexit in name only plan.

Wreckin' Ball May should have been given the Mussolini treatment over a year ago. Thanks SaveFerris.

May was against Brexit and tried to pull off a big deception and failed miserably. Unfortunately, she is taking the Tory party down with her.

Good that Farage is there to pick up the standard.

The British people voted for leave. The Political establishment tried to force leave in name only, get no vote at all anymore AND require a permission slip from the EU to actually ever leave.

Its difficult to imagine a more one-sided agreement. Normally, countries do not agree to any such treaties unless they’ve badly lost a war. No wonder the voters in the UK are fed up with these traitors who tried to sell them out to the EU.

The general elections are only due in 2022. Lots of time for the fickle public to forget.

And Farage hasn’t come up with a party that can oppose the Tories in the General Election. The Brexit “party” is a single-point “party” just cobbled together for the EU parliamentary elections
