WOW. Just how patronising is that statement? “Oh, you stupid, willful kids, you don’t know what you’re talking about. WE know what’s best for you, after all.”
I think a more accurate translation of that statement is: “We are deeply sorry that a certain segment of the student populace is not yet in agreement with our viewpoints. As the adults, who have their best interests at heart, and who, after all, know best, we can assure you that such a situation will not be repeated. Said troublesome students shall be starting their re-education programs on Monday.”
Too bad not one of them had the forethought to think maybe this wasn’t a good idea in the first place.

I use ex instead of former because he is reneging on the oath he took to defend the Constitution. I took that oath in 1974 and never signed anything that let me “out of it.”
The mental health professionals have been failing society for a number of years now and that failure is now being manifested in what we are experiencing. They seem to have made their mission to be giving credence to the progressive liberal changes in society.

These kids maybe, just maybe are wising up. Their generation is being unprotected and then exploited for fund raising on gun grabbers. They see banks and even Walmarts are protected with guns, and play video games to start to connect the dots to know they are sitting ducks. Time to offer teachers $15k extra a year to take firearm safety courses and active shooter scenarios, and be certified. Lay you money you would have teachers jumping at the opportunity. Most know that they will never have to draw, because the site of an armed person alone is a all kids need to see to thwart an attack.
