Nellie Ohr, the wife of Justice Department official Bruce Ohr, is the subject of a criminal referral sent to the Justice Department in the last few hours.
Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., wrote up the referral addressed to Attorney General William Barr, citing concerns that Ohr “knowingly provided false testimony” last year to a joint task force of the House Oversight and Judiciary committees that were investigating decisions made by the Justice Department and FBI surrounding the 2016 election.
The Hill reported Meadows, a member of House Oversight, has filed a referral with the Justice Department in the evening Wednesday. The Washington Examiner has not independently confirmed it has been sent and has reached out to Meadows’ office.

Remember, there was only on criminal came from that OIG report and it was a criminal referral that was about a McCabe leak that actually hurt Hillary and Obama.

In my view, the poster is just being realistically distrustful of an entrenched Deep State.
There's nothing wrong with being skeptical and taking the position of "seeing is believing", if that's the position he is taking.
On the positive side, it's worth noting that Barr is definitely showing signs of life. For example he's not recused like his predecessor. And he seems to be saying the right things.
That said, when I see serious indictments of people who committed serious crimes, I will believe it.

I’ve been on this forum for some 15 years and the level of knee jerk reactionary cynicism is becoming beyond tiresome.
Many on here seem to unabashedly display it as though it was a virtue. There’s a difference between being a realistic skeptic and obnoxious carper. I view most things such as this with a wary albeit hopeful eye.
Barr, I believe is a law and order hard a$$ who is aware of the deep state, knows how to manipulate it yet is not part of it. Right man for the job at this point in history. If he can bring down even a a portion of the swamp dwelling critter clan, time will only tell.

Now the decision to investigate, and ultimately to prosecute, will be made by officials at the DoJ.
I’m still not convinced the only the very highest levels of DoJ were corrupted. I suspect the rot goes much, much deeper. How DoJ handles this referral, and the others from several weeks ago, should be an indication.
And note Barr has not indicted anyone.
When Obama takes an unannounced trip to a country without an extraditable treaty with the U.S., only then I will know things are getting serious.
